We are in cloud cuckoo land if we think anyone is going to make a bid for Antony that even gets back a fraction of what we paid for him, with the wages he is on we are stuck with him for the term of his contract. Unless we are willing to let him off for nothing and subsidize his wages.

The difference is that at least it’s been identified that it’s not working for Antony and that we should at least try ship him out.

I’m sceptical that we’ll get a deal but I’m glad that it’s being discussed.

previous regime keeps Antony for another 4years.

Whether that‘s true I‘m not sure but we are conceding too many shots. Onana is looking good, one of the positives in this shit show.
It's not true if we're comparing to last year.

Onana is on 74% and third in the league. DDG was on 71% so not a huge difference, but was 10th in the league.

DDG was also -0.02 vs post shot Xg per 90 while Onana is currently on +0.08.

He definitely makes us more secure when playing out from the back too. So while he hasn't been fantastic, the shouts for De Gea aren't grounded in a comparison to last year's performance. It also has to be factored in that De Gea's performances were deteriorating so he'd arguably have been worse again this year.

Official: Eric Ramsay leaves Manchester United to join Minnesota United as their head coach

Was he our first set piece "specialist"? Of course there's a wider context, but I'm curious to know the percentage of corner goals scored and conceded, as well as free kicks in his time here.

Has to be Benjamin Sesco 6’4, fast right footed, can play as a 10 and goal scorer, would give the manager the option to change the strategy and play 352 or 3412 as well as 4231. This lad is available at £42m but out and he’s just starting to come good he’ll share the work load with Hojlund and these two will score bundles next season. We’ll be set at number 9 for next decade.

He started off as such and then took on more responsibility over time according to Steven Railston.

This comes from an older story from Alan Nixon (Tier 3) 3 days ago:
Wasn't this reluctant nicko guy outed as a fake journo? Stupid rumour anyways. I'd be really concerned if these are the type of signings we are going to aim for.

I'm not aware of this ever happening. When did something like this come out?

I have zero clue. I probably read somewhere on here that he just spouts bullshit and how he has articles behind Patreon. Is he actually employed by Sun?

Yeah, he's not that reliable, but he doesn't BS like some of the other reporters. He's still employed by The Sun but releases his bits of info out on his Patreon before he puts them out in The Sun (if they're interested in his story).

I had no idea he was employed by Sun. Wasn't he one of the banned sources on here long ago( as in not allowed to post any of his tweets in the transfer section) or am I misremembering that too?

He's never been banned. You might be confusing him with Miguel Delaney or Samuel Luckhurst.

Right decision to move on Antony. A club in France or Germany hopefully fork out £25million for him. Unless Saudi are stupid enough to target him that is probably in and around what we can expect.
Saudis are looking for names to increase their viewers, I dont see how Antony would be among their targets.

20-25M is reasonable for him, giving he's been an absolute flop and its on huge wages.
