How do you feel about this?.
It seems a bit strange that a referee can give a booking for a challenge that should be red, but nothing can be done after the game.
Recently Ashley Young has been banned for the incident not being seen by the ref, it wasn't brought up in the match report. The only reason this has been made an "incident" is because of BT Sport.
They decided to show multiple replays, and consult their "expert" referee. Without them doing this nothing would have been said. It suprises me that TV companies can use their power to effectively change the outcome in sport. We now miss a player for 3 matches.
Do you think TV should be allowed to do this? I can understand if a video referee involved with the match spots it and sends them off, but afterwards seems ridiculous considering many of the other football rules.
