I agree, but I expect online ID's linked to real ID will apply to all online platforms eventually including forums like this - which wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing either IMO.The companies that run these social media platforms need to start being held accountable as well, the trash making these type of posts need to be tracked down and punished.

Not that this stuff should be allowed to continue, but I can say as a black person in Britain that I do often find it annoying that the fight against racism is often ‘trivialised’ into an illiterate on the street calling someone a monkey or whatever. That stuff is barely even offensive to me on a personal level, at least no more so than being called a cnut. The most problematic racism is the unseen, subconscious version - the type that is more difficult to even prove, and is so generational that the perpetrators probably don’t even realise they are doing it as they consider themselves ‘good people’, but likely have a socially conditioned understanding of what is normal.I honestly don't think most of these morons even know they are being racist.
