Vieira..

He was poor and that why he was subbed at half time but i saw Mourinho saying Vieria had been out for 4 months and this was only his second match. So look like INter don't have much squad depth if they need to play him when he clearly unfit.

Finally

That's the one aspect that's finished him and tbfair its been that way for a few years

He gave his all for the Arsenal till I'd say 2004 and after that it was an inevitable medical decline

Nevertheless for us, one of the greats

And for us too. Who can ever forget that inch-perfect pass to Giggs in the 99 FA Cup semi?

i have all the repect for his lad... was a tremendous playa for the arses and his country... brought great contribution to english footy...

He looks close to retire, dont know why he looks so useless now.

Not even Makelele play that shit and is older.

The reason he was so crap at OT the other night was that he spent the first half looking over his shoulder, half-expecting Keano to run onto the pitch and twat him.

Always thought he was massively overrated. Obviously a good player but never a great player like Keane or Scholes. To think some twats think he was the best midfielder in the Premier League ever is unbelievable really. In fact, I'd take Fabregas over him any day.

Fabregas hasn't reached Viera's level yet but he surely will at some point.I'm not talking about the crooked player of now but the now who was in better shape

Viera has a condition where one leg is longer than the other, which I believe gets worse with age. Wenger basically got rid of him at exactly the right time and made a tidy sum on the side too.

Would have made quite a bit more had he gotten rid of him a year earlier though.

Perhaps. He certainly scores fewer goals and obviously Vieira's leadership was more important but Fabregas is still very young and better at most aspects of the game IMO.
