It's bizarre that we didn't try to sign him. We were linked with him by a few journalists while we were chasing De Jong. Really odd that once we failed to sign De Jong, we decided to avoid signing a player of that profile entirely.

Looks great. He can be a PSG midfield legend like Verratti but better because of his long shot capability.
I wanted him as an alternative to FdJ. I've not seen him for PSG but he looked talented at Porto, and has a bit of wizardry about him, with loads of flair. Looked a fun player to watch, which you don't see many of these days.

Didn't PSG buy him the same summer we bought Casemiro? And for something like 40 or 45m? I remember thinking at that time he was a good player and alternative to FDJ but we instead chose to spunk a huge load on a guy who's already washed up within a year of buying and a completely different profile of player to FDJ/Vitinha.
He was poor last season
This is the guy I wish Bayern breaks the bank for, if possible. Watching the complete lack of control and lack of any midfield against Madrid was unreal.

I think we were linked with him the last summer window for 40m something, but then we were sold on Mason Mount.
No were linked with him in summer we chased De Jong and he moved in the same window to PSG .
