When I just got married I would do anything for my wife.

I've watched:
  • The Twilight Saga (what's this crap?!)
  • The Notebook (what do you want what do you want)
  • Dirty Dancing (again and again)
  • Grey's Anatomy (it just goes on and on and on)
Love hurts.

Alcoholism made it much easier to sit through garbage in my earlier years of marriage.

  • I’m a celebrity
  • You
  • The Crown
  • Good Girls
  • Only Way Is Essex
  • Every Hollywood studio digital animation film known to man

Off the top of my head. All under agreement that we can watch good stuff together as well, so it’s more a contractual exchange than altruism.

It's disgusting isn't it. I've been forced by the missus to watch The Only Way Is Essex and Geordie Shore and it's now brainwashed me to actually like it

Every single fecking day with dinner it's Hollyoak's too. Nothing is convincing me that's anything other than terrible though.

Feet up at home.
When I was married I used to have one day off a week and she made me watch reruns of Falcon Crest.

Horrific.

Get a second TV so you can pack her off to the other room whenever she wants to watch that shit.

Thankfully, we both have very similar tastes in TV and film, so there's not much I've had to painfully sit through.

Though I fell asleep watching the 4th (or 5th? or 19th?) Pirates of the Caribbean at the cinema. I've watched the others at home. There's so many of them, and they're so long. It's just 2 and a half hours of the same 'joke', which revolves around Jack Sparrow acting slightly drunk, sandwiched between a bunch of CGI.

If you want a pirate film, you watch Hook.

Don't do this, if you want to navigate a prosperous relationship!

1st step to not 'connecting' and the invariable fallout.

Nah, she knows it's shit and would rather watch it in peace than than have me telling her how bad it is.

Bits of Game of Thrones, The Witcher, His Dark Materials and I reckon that Wheel of Time will be rolling around pretty soon. None of it is my cup of tea whatsoever, and I found The Witcher and the few looks of WoT I've had to be genuinely terrible viewing.

I'd rather watch sappy dramas and ditzy romcoms tbh.

feck that part of being in love is being honest and I tell it like it is. I'm not watching any crap show in the name of love. It helps if you don't have to necessarily be nice. :nervous:

I had to sit through one of those Bridgette Jones sequels at the pictures once. Possibly one of worst films ever made. After about half an hour, I just played on my phone.
That was in like 2004. So you just sat there playing snake?

I’ve got you all beat, I have to sit and watch endless amounts of hallmark movies. Do you know how many hallmark movies there is every year? There’s like 30 of them just for Christmas. Every. Single. Year.
