Falcao must devastated. The poor guy looks desperate to score goals and was playing well. Don't give me all this jet-lag bollocks, he's a super it athlete and has has more than enough days to recover. Yet, an out of form Van Persie gets a start. He's been poor for God knows how long now. Bloody typical.

RVP has scored twice this season and he hasn't looked great. Its still early days my man, Falcao will get a lot of game time.

Falcao needs to be given every chance to play himself into form. He's not going to drop RvP is he.

    calm down.

Is this our best back 4 right now? As in, when everyone's fit. I'd probably say so.

Be happy with any win here... defense still looks quite leaky to me, so a clean sheet would be a major plus.

I don't think jet lag has much to do with athleticism.

He's also barely played since returning from a terrible injury. We'd be wise to manage him smartly.

We also have some huge games coming up against tougher opposition, and Rooney is suspended for one of them. Seems sensible to keep the front line fresh for this week and next.

Just a couple of years ago, it would have been mad to think that we could have Rooney unavailable and still start with Di Maria, Mata and Van Persie with Falcao on the bench. It's surreal, I just hope it actually translates to something on the pitch.

Good to see Januzaj is starting

Has seemed marginalised in van Gaal's tenure thus far, but I think it's good management. Louis doesn't want him to have too much too soon and suffer burn out... ala Sterling, who looks quite tired lately.

It's to stop his moobs growing any bigger.

So the following strap is like a bra?

Just noticed Myhill starts insted of foster and how slow that midfield from west brom is. I think if we can pass it quickly in midfield. I think we can expse Lescott and even myhill.

Leceister away has ruined me, so nervous when playing teams like this away

    Indeed.

I'm looking at that lineup and thinking we should absolutely smash it tonight. Yet, I'm still shitting bricks that we're going to lose. Last season, coupled with the Leicester game, has completely changed my outlook when watching United.

We could be 3-0 up with 10 mins left and I reckon I'd still be nervy.

Hard to say this is our best back 4 when they haven't even played together yet. On paper it probably is though.

You of course, make assumptions without even having all the info. You're assuming that Falcao is fit, that he's 100% simply because he's a 'fit athlete'.

To be really fair last year we did quite well away from home against team outside the top six.

We have a great squad full of options, yet people have the tendency of making things personal when it comes to a player not being in the starting 11. God knows why.

Urgh Craig gardiner either he injures someone tonight or scores the winner, cnut

It's really refreshing to see how the squad now looks totally different than last season's.
Falcao and Carrick on the bench, Jebus.

Well, I'm struggling to understand why a bra strap would prevent moobs, but keep "them" perky.
But who knows what Shaw is thinking.
    Shaw in a bra strap.
    Herrara in a corset.
Is anybody wearing high heels? :)

It's what I expected, he calls Januzaj a striker, I don't think he sees enough from him defensively to play him any deeper.

It's our strongest back 4 IMO, hoping for a clean sheet today.

    De Gea

    Rafael - Jones - Rojo - Shaw
    Blind
    Herrera - Di Maria
    Mata
    RvP - Januzaj
