Great film, great soundtrack.
A great film definitely. I have all / most of his films, although now sadly on dvd due to when I bought them. I really should dig them out and watch this, Hana Bi etc again, been a while.
The new song from Liam Gallagher and the mighty Squire is...well...interesting.

I've only started watching his films, got a BFI subscription for Christmas.
Sonatine was really beautiful in places.
If you enjoyed that then you’ve got a few treats waiting for you. Hana Bi arguably my favourite.
Most of my faves are his 90’s films up to and including Brother but some of his later stuff is also very good.

Unlike our last few submissions, it actually kinda isn't. This band was founded in 1999, and that's the sort of folky-type rock thing they've been doing.
With this one we might actually get some jury points for once.
Why wouldn't you send them? Is it a public vote?
I don't know how the original contestants are chosen, but when they have been we have 3 pre-finals and then a national final where the winner gets sent to Eurovision. The public votes on it just like they would for Eurovision. Sometimes we make very bad decisions.
There they go again, being all political. Old Green Day would never, surely.

Reminds me a bit of Music Sounds Better With You by Stardust (1/2 of Daft Punk).
They’re one of the few who might sound like that, since they sample things from that era.
