In amongst the absolute crap that was this season - we've scored some absolute bangers.

Obivously Garnacho takes the number one spot, but what - in your opinion - who gets the number two & three?

The contenders: (Mods: can we get a poll? @Damien ?)

Bruno vs. Burnley (Volley from Evans long ball)

Bruno vs. Galatasary (Long range top corner)

Bruno vs. Liverpool (50 yard first time lob)

Dalot vs. Sheffield United (Long range curler)

Garnacho vs. Chelsea (Antony assist)

Hannibal vs. Brighton (25 yarder)

Hojlund vs. West Ham (nice feet and finish)

Mainoo vs. Wolves (Beat a few men and curler into the corner)

Mainoo vs. Liverpool (Top corner curler)

Amad vs. Liverpool (No desciption needed)

Amad vs. Newcastle (drilled half volley)

Rashford vs. City (30 yard howitzer)

In terms of aesthetics, it probably has to be the Rashford vs City goal.

Mainoo's goal against Wolves was unreal, the technique & composure were superb. It was a bit of "I'm here now" moment for me.

Would've been my goal of the season if it wasn't for Garnacho deciding to single-handedly break the rating scale for bicycle kicks.

In terms of beauty and impact, Amad vs Liverpool. He made it look so effortless. Bonus point for killing Liverpool's season.

Then Mainoo vs Wolves.

Mainoo vs Wolves is just an unreal goal and would easily have won goal of the season if not for Garnacho vs Everton. Fantastic drive and technique not to mention injury time winner.

Hoijlund vs Villa at Old Trafford deserves a special mention.

Amad vs Liverpool though was just magical.

Because how important they are is a key part of how good they are.

That’s why rooneys bicycle kick will always be above Garnachos even though he shinned it.

I can agree on ranking them higher due to importance if it’s close like the example above, but not discounting them entirely. A banger is still a banger

Maybe it is due to the occasion, the beauty of the team move for the Mainoo goal vs City yesterday has to be a contender. From Rashfords sublime pass, Garnacho doing what wingers should do, Bruno do Bruno things amd Mainoo's calm cool finish it was about 10 seconds of magic that will be remembered for a long long time!

This exactly. If Garna's was the individual goal of the season, this was the team goal of the season. I can't think of any goal in the entirety of the 23/24 season that was built up better than than this one.

The Mainoo goal by far and I would even put that goal ahead of Garnacho's goal, but I realize that the athletic virtuosity of the Garnacho goal will probably result in his goal being the PL goal of the season...assuming that someone is responsible for handing out this award.

For pure emotion that Amad match winner against Liverpool but overall Kobbie Mainoo cup final goal, up there with the best team goals scored in a FA Cup final and have to take the opposition into account.
