Who do you reckon will turn out to have had the better deal out of the Sanchez, Mkhitaryan swap?

Wouldn't touch Mkhitaryan with a barge pole. He wasn't ever good enough. Mentally weak.

He's inconsistent and mentally weak. Suits Arsenal.

Quite possibly neither. They have both been peripheral and hugley under-performing figures since they swapped clubs.
Might end being a case of who is the "least worst" of the two.

He would have suited us now and never under that moron Mourinho. Like people have already said, he was on less wages and played in a position where we lack quality personnel. He also would have happily accepted a squad option, if we ended up buying Sancho or any other young right sided attacker, he would have provided cover for the new signing to settle in. We also would have a better balanced squad.

Players who were deemed "mentally weak" seem to perform quite well away from the poisonous cloud of Mourinho. Mkhi is a decent player who could have provided very good rotational option now instead of Sancehz.

It's madness that people think differently. Grass is always greener. He couldn't even pass the fecking ball for us. I've never seen a player in a Manchester United jersey that was so weak, physically and mentally.

No - he's not good enough for us, possibly slight upgrade on Sanchez. Neither are of any real use.

I would be thrilled if Sanchez pulled out a performance close to what Mhkitaryan showed today.

And impossibly shocked.

Sanchez did, at Wembley in the FA Cup semi, against Spurs ironically

Eh?

Sanchez has had one off performances like that against City last season and even Arsenal in the cup few weeks ago.

They are both players who aren't near what they used to be. Alexis way more off than Miki. But today.... Miki was one of the better players in that stadium today.

Scored a couple of goals, but his in game performance was nothing special and hardly made you optimistic it was repeatable.

Maybe being harsh but Sanchez has been one of the worst transfers in the history of football.

Still happy we offloaded mkhitaryan. Not that Sanchez has been great but atleast we don't have to deal with a mentally fragile player.

Any idea what Mkhi is earning at Arsenal? I think that's a big factor in who got the better deal. At least he can run and has a semblance of re-sale value.

Mkhi has been better than Sanchez .it's not even close. You can be average and still be better than a pub league player which is what Sanchez has resembled for us.

Would have liked to have seen what Ole could get out of Mkhi.

feck this mentally weak talk from you armchair psychologists though. Half of you would struggle to perform in a park let alone a stadium full of thousands of supporters.

Never mind he got us a winning goal in a European cup final.

I'm sure Mkhi would have been great for us under Ole

Mkhi is dogshit so Sanchez all day long. At least Sanchez doesn't disappear during games and has a presence. Mikh is just a coward.

'has a presence' - is this a nice way of saying he runs around on the pitch with feckall end product?

Mkhi definitely has been better because he hasn't lost 90% of his ability of footballer, some games I've seen this season he has been pretty okay, still looks pretty quick on counter and showed some glimpse of his Dortmund days, still not consistent enough though

We're still not playing with ten men when Sanchez is on the pitch.
Alexis doesn't have to be a success to be the better player for us.

Mikhitarian scored 4 and assisted 3 in the last 4 games before today. Both turned out to be shite additions but Mikhi has some end product.
Couldn't care less which scrubs at home he comes alive in.
Arsenal have a terrible away record, having the likes of Mkhi adds up to that fact. A United player should never be bullied on the pitch.

Mkhitaryan was the main reason we got
CL football under Mourinho in his first season. Everyone forgot all the clutch away goals?

Sanchez has been the worst signing in our club’s history, no contest.

It would be interesting to see Mikhitarian under Ole. He was a good player at Dortmund, or at least capable of it.
