Sponsors like rim says. What the title says. I've never really understood why this rule was brought in.
You’ve hurt John’s feelings there, yellow card!it’s because it makes john moss feel self conscious.
This is the official reason... But really it's to do with Sponsors and wanting logos on shirts for celebrationsYou can't restart the game with a player with no shirt, so to prevent time-wasting pretending you're struggling to put it back on.
They could change it that there is no yellow but then you're out until the next stoppage of play.
It’s cause fat refs like John Moss are jealous of those gorgeous 6 packs. What the title says. I've never really understood why this rule was brought in.
The same reason I can’t resist annoying my other half when the opportunity arises. Some things are just worth it.I'd say why do players keep doing it knowing they'll get booked?
Hater.Players who get booked for this should be fined a years wages, it's so dumb.
How did Chelsea get on tonight?Players who get booked for this should be fined a years wages, it's so dumb.

I don't know why other players do it but Ronaldo can't NOT do it. It's probably a medical condition or something. The medical condition being that he loves taking his shirt off.I'd say why do players keep doing it knowing they'll get booked?
We're focusing on the World Cup this year. How did Chelsea get on tonight?
Sounds like body envy big DuffPlayers who get booked for this should be fined a years wages, it's so dumb.
Damn, jinx! Noticed your post after I posted mineit’s because it makes john moss feel self conscious.

I'd prefer it if they took their socks off, I'm a foot man.Hater.
Wow, actually never saw it like that before. Always thought it was a "modest" rule that was outdated. But that makes too much sense, especially coming from you. I'm confused.because it means sponsors don’t get their two cents worth on all the photos taken of the celebration.
This. And it's fair. They pay a shit load of money for that very moment.because it means sponsors don’t get their two cents worth on all the photos taken of the celebration.
What if the player cheekily cover the sponsors with his hands ?because it means sponsors don’t get their two cents worth on all the photos taken of the celebration.
They never gave an official reason.I'm pretty sure it was so players couldn't use their undershirts for advertising or other messages.
Hopefully you draw someone easy like Auckland… or Barca. We're focusing on the World Cup this year.
i’ve only ever spoken sense in my whole life.Wow, actually never saw it like that before. Always thought it was a "modest" rule that was outdated. But that makes too much sense, especially coming from you. I'm confused.
like puts a finger at the front of the n on nike and then you spend the rest of the game wondering if it actually says mike? What if the player cheekily cover the sponsors with his hands ?
Yes or bikei’ve only ever spoken sense in my whole life.

It's not an old rule. Players used to be able to do this 20 years ago. I'm certain it's to do with sponsors wanting their logos displayed in celebrations. The time wasting reason only makes sense if you don't really think about it. I'm fairly certain players are not disallowed from taking their boots off and holding them up when you score. How much time could you waste from putting your shirt back on?Wow, actually never saw it like that before. Always thought it was a "modest" rule that was outdated. It started when Diego Forlan couldn't get his shirt back on, and ended up running around playing skins for the last few minutes of a game.
I want to see this happen nowWhat if the player cheekily cover the sponsors with his hands ?
I think the question here is why would that be a rule...as some already pointed out to potentially being linked to sponsors.Isn’t it in the rules that a player has to have certain kit on at all times during the game, i.e shirt, shorts, socks, boots and shin pads?
But that's banned anyway - well, at least FIFA doesn't allow political messages.I'm pretty sure it was so players couldn't use their undershirts for advertising or other messages.
