Wigan Athletic vs. Manchester United

THat wouldn't prove or disprove the point either way.

Unless he's only touched the ball 13 or so times this season.

People that never pass and too often make the wrong decision generally don't rack up many assists. Nani will take shots on more than most because he's capable, they won't always come off and commentators will take the ones that dont as an excuse to reel out cliches.

damm we need to kill the game off while we are on top.

We are lucky that Wigan are playing an open game, which allows us to explore those open spaces in the back, because our midfield is a no show again

Fletcher is useless on the right wing. Yes he did get a cross or two, but we are heavily attacking through Nani on the left..for good or for bad

Rooney needs to calm down. Chased that Wigan player off the ball then, and had a bit of a clash with him.

feck off Rooney and take your petulant crap elsewhere. It's not Wigan's fecking fault you're playing shit. Get him off I say, we can't afford to finish this with ten men. Idiot.

I though we've been okay. We look like we're a bit light on the right hand side. Wigan seem to be exploiting that area a little bit. Not too much to worry about though.

Jesus, Battenburg can't even get the added time right. :D

We've been okay, way better than most of our away performances this season, we got stuck in too. Thank feck for Scholes Vds and Nani.

Poor performance but we have the lead so that's all right. But we really need 1 or 2 more goals because Wigan look like they can score. And once again our midfield gets bypassed.

Vidic, Smalling and VDS have been immense. Nani has blown hot and cold. The rest have been poor.

Jesus, Battenburg can't even get the added time right. :D

He decided it was 2 minutes really early as well. The commentator on my stream said it after 42 minutes, so Clattenburg probably told the assistants five minutes before HT.

So he's decided 2 minutes extra time after 40 minutes, what happens then if someone gets injured on 42 minutes and is down for three? That's three minutes never played.

Fergie had a go at Rooney a few times that half according to the commentator.

We'll be lucky if Rooney gets suspended over his elbow earlier. At least then we don't have to worry about him getting sent off for being a petulant twat. He's also been rubbish, but that's not a surprise.

Good half from Wigan. Smalling looks assured at the back again, and we've played a lot better through the midfield than we have recently. I've enjoyed that half.
