It's real!What ?
What makes it even more ridiculous is that 30 Rock did this a few years earlier....

I managed a minute of that.It's real!

The only reason I watched the first season, they are mesmerizing.Least there was 2 big reasons to somewhat sit through it.
Indeed they were. The only reason I watched the first season, they are mesmerizing.
If it comes to it, I'll back you up. It's awful shite. Two Broke Girls might be worse, possibly, but at least it could be mostly ignored. Friends was everywhere.Friends. I am ready to drop hands regarding this.
Fair enough. I’m not educated on the finer details of that period other than Lenin led the revolution and that the tzars got shot. I actually don’t remember much from the show so I guess my mind isn’t that tainted.I’m not sure if I ever seen a less accurate “historical” TV-show. Those “historians” that appear every 5 minutes to spur another portion of bullshit are also incredibly annoying. I mean, they show the Red Square from 1905 and there’s Lenin’s mausoleum right in the middle of it. You know, the man that is going to lead a revolution that would overtake and kill the main characters of the show? The amount of questionable sex scenes are also over the top. I don’t have anything against sex scenes in TV shows btw, just don’t make them look like a 12 y.o. girls wet dream.
I'm not usually the one to dig into historical inaccuracies, but there were just so many — and absolutely ridiculous ones, that any Russian child can point out, let alone a historian. But they kept promoting it as a historical series with constant narrative intrusions from the supposed specialists (I'm not a fan of the format itself as well, either do a documentary, or commit to the drama and do a full immersion like The Crown and so many others did), which they had found god knows where.Fair enough. Any recommendations for an accurate documentary of that period?I'm not usually the one to dig into historical inaccuracies, but there were just so many — and absolutely ridiculous ones, that any Russian child can point out, let alone a historian. I'm not really a big fan of Romanoffs, so there's no personal feelings involved, but it's such a colourful time with tons of unique and interesting characters, you can really do a real-life Game of Thrones show based on 10-15 years from the 1905... and they feck it up so massively that it's not really enjoyable as a drama and horrifyingly inaccurate from the historical perspective.
They even called the daughters of Montenegro's king "black princesses" because of a mistranslation in English wikipedia (someone who translated an article from the Russian wiki clearly wasn't a native speaker). I mean, they seriously used wikipedia as their source material without even checking the links!
Frankly, no ideaAny recommendations for an accurate documentary of that period?
It became so shit closer to the end that the mentions are justified. It was really great, especially since it broke the usual sitcom format (same number of male and female counterparts) and used jokes about science and nerd culture... but it became a parody of itself. A horrible parody of itself (especially when even Sheldon got himself a girlfriend).Surprised at how many people have said Big Bang theory. I love that show. Seasons 4-7 were the best before and after it was poor.
I always knew you were a wrong'un.Seinfeld, now that is properly shite.
I will find you and I will finish you. What's wrong with you people. Lucifer is awesome.
Seinfeld, now that is properly shite.
Peppa Pig, at least for any parents of young kids.
She's a little cnut, in fact everyone in it is a cnut.
Can't watch an episode without getting an uncontrollably urge to gorge on sausages.
No soup for you!I will find you and I will finish you.
I thought MF is cleverly written. Not over the top humour, but more subtle.Agree with the ones already mentioned such as Friends, Mrs Brown’s Boys, Big Bang Theory etc.
One that I will add to the list is Modern Family. Absolutely awful show.
This, I have ptsd because of that show.Grey's Anatomy... blatant tugging of heart strings every single episode
What? Not only was it brilliant but it has aged very well in the main. What's wrong with you people. Lucifer is awesome.
Seinfeld, now that is properly shite.
The first few seasons were very good but it got old quickly after that.I thought MF is cleverly written. Not over the top humour, but more subtle.
I loved the Gilmore Girls! so I have to disagree with you there, and also you have very cool daughters! My daughters are currently watching the Gilmore Girls - this without any doubt is the worst TV show ever made
Ari Gold is comedy gold to be fair though. Johnny too. I enjoyed watching it personally. I've seen much worse.Entourage. I once lived with a guy that would watch this religiously and could hear him cracking up every episode. He'd rave about how amazing it was and would be downloading every episode the moment it was out. I thought I'd give it a watch and couldn't even finish the first episode - what a crock of shite.
What meds are you on?Friends. I am ready to drop hands regarding this.
Each to their own! But if we get locked down here due to Coronavirus I am banning it from our telly!! I'll get my daughters to PM you for sympathyI loved the Gilmore Girls! so I have to disagree with you there, and also you have very cool daughters!
The Gilmore Girls was actually a guilty pleasure of mine years ago. I started watching it when it came out with my girlfriend at the time, then as she stopped watching it for whatever reason after a few episodes, I realised that I was already needing my next fix of Lauren Graham and old Stars Hollow.
The mum and daughter cutesy clever banter thing is not to everyone's liking, but I'm glad I stuck with it for all 7 or whatever series it had.
It's way better than all the shows mentioned in this thread, and just checked it has 8.1/10 on IMDB rating.
Melissa McCarthy, Jared Padalecki and Milo Ventimiglia are in it, along with the head vampire from The Lost Boys. And did I mention a hot Lauren Graham
