Can’t use terms such as smash and beat.I hate the name Young Boys. You always have to qualify that you’re bragging about a football match and not a pedo.

Mentioning Young Boys leaving the backdoor open is threading dangerous ground my friend.Perfect. Much more likely to get a result if they leave the backdoor open rather than shut up shop.

Young Boys to keep the back door open…you’re brave and grossly overestimate the maturity of the cafe.Perfect. Much more likely to get a result if they leave the backdoor open rather than shut up shop.
Sounds like some sick twisted version of Hogwarts.Wait, wait, wait, hold the phone, we're playing Young Boys? At Wankdorf?
Seiously, that's some next level upfeckery right there. I mean, wow.
It could happen I suppose. Though now you've got me looking at socks on United Direct and I'm probably going to buy the home and away ones.I guess I assume we have a white version of the sock too. Haven’t we always had a white shirts and sock option and a black shorts and sock option? Like 07-09

Wilson? Wilson? Come back!Blush
It would be interesting to see how Varane and Lidelof work together, maybe they complement each other better than Maguiere - Lindelof? But you can’t create Varane/Lindelof partnership if you don’t play them together
Besides - and with all due respect to our captain - Varane is probably a better player, so it is Maguire who should be the main competitor for Lindelof with regards to playing time, not Varane.
So important to get Mata some minutes.Any chance Ole can announce the team tonight so I don’t have to read “ Need to rotate “ or “we should start Lindelof “
AWB slidetackling on astroturf. OUCH!Just watched Ole's presser. Are we playing on astroturf? In the Champions League? I don't understand how that's allowed to happen. Now I'm not really expecting a football match, but some perverse form of one.

Yeah, it's not winning me over. I'm actually hoping we just manage the game well, not too fuzzed about how we perform, just avoid injuries and maybe rest Ronnie.Looks interesting: https://www.polytan.com/references/stade-de-suisse-bern/
I reckon they've done their due diligence on it. From the looks of it, it is going to behave more naturally than older types of artificial turf.Yeah, it's not winning me over. Cannot believe UEFA doesn't realise this massively detracts from the quality of the game (and I thought it was only Europa that was cursed with clubs who do this), increases the risk of injuries, and favours the home team more than normal who are used to this shite.
Admittedly, I cannot speak conclusively about injury risk (although significant changes in playing conditions can obviously exacerbate that) and this pitch may not be the hell that was Alkmaar's pitch, but as far as I'm concerned, you're no longer watching real football when it's played on those pitches.I reckon they've done their due diligence on it. From the looks of it, it is going to behave more naturally than older types of artificial turf.
The risk of injuries from these surfaces is a lot less than it used to be. It wouldn't be in the company's interest to put out a product that increases the risk of injury to athletes.
I don't think the difference will be enough to allow Young Boys to have significant advantage over Manchester United.
You should be slapped for saying that.If anyone thinks Ronaldo is missing a UCL game when he’s 100% fit they need to be slapped.
Ronaldo will be starting every CL game.I think we really should school these young boys (G rated joke):
Sancho Martial Greenwood
Bruno - Donnie
Fred (or matic if not avail)
Shaw Lindelof Maguire AWB
Henderson
Subs: CR7, Pogba, Varane, De Gea, etc
Valencia played with his shins crossed. If anyone thinks Ronaldo is missing a UCL game when he’s 100% fit they need to be slapped.
He should have his shins crossed for that (by Valencia). You should be slapped for saying that.
He also said that we'd be fine playing on that surface.Ole also mentioned that it favours the opponent's who are used to the pitch.
