Btw boys there’s no W in Hamza Choudhury’s name.

He’s a better footballer than people will notice too due to him being a DM

He’s a very good midfielder.

If anyone has seen it, there’s a briiiant tackle on Mane in the Leicester draw at Anfield

Disappointing draw. Poland did well sitting in and countering. I thought Maddison was majorly disappointing. Foden looked a class apart in moments. Tomori was commanding at the back and I’m sure he’ll get senior caps. Dowell did well as a DLP. Nelson was OK but Lookman was poor.

I’m thinking Maddison gets dropped for the Germany game and either Davies or Choudhury comes in. Lokkman shouldn’t start either. I’d probably go for Gray on the right.

Any reason as to why Gunn is preferred to Henderson?
Henderson will surely start against Germany on Tuesday.

First of all 26,000 at Ashton Gate was amazing.....the attendance of the U21 game Germany vs France in Essen was 4,000.......the game against Germany in Bournemouth is sold out :)

Yep disappointing result and i must say it again that the team would do so much better if they would have a better coach.

Yes that was Lookman's last chance.....he should be now the 4th choice on the left-wing behind Sessegnon, Hudson-Odoi and Barnes.

Yes Maddison had a poor game but i wouldn't drop him.....i would like to see a midfield with Foden/Choudhury/Maddison against Germany.

U18s lost yesterday to Czech Republic 0-1, it was a fully rotated side and there was a red card for England but still disappointing.

The u19s flopped to a defeat against Greece today 1-2. Danny Loader missed a pen and qualification for the u19 Euros is now out of England’s hands. Even though Foden, Sancho and Hudson Odoi have left the group, it was still a very strong side and is a big miss.

Of course no M.Greenwood, John-Jules, Amaechi, Appiah, Anjorin, Adshead & Alese in the squad but the squad still shouldn't lose against Czech Republic....yeah it's another disappointing March result.

That result isn't a disappointing result.....it's a shocking result :mad:

Smith-Rowe is a massive miss on the right-wing too.....but come on it was Greece and they have struggled against Denmark :houllier:

But not only the Young Lions are having problems.....Germany, France, Portugal & Belgium are struggling too and it will be a shame that Spain or the Netherlands wouldn't qualify for the Euros.

The U17's have played 0-0 against Croatia in their 2nd qualification game today.....another winless game for a Young Lions team but a draw is acceptable considering we were down to ten men for two thirds of the game and substitute goalkeeper Trafford saved Croatia's penalty (Moulden was sent-off).

Starting XI
Moulden - Livramento, Wood-Gordon, Harwood-Bellis, Roberts - Azeez, Weir, Madueke - Knight, S.Greenwood, Rogers
Subs
Trafford -> Knight 29
Mighten -> Madueke 60
Gelhardt -> S.Greenwood 76
Bate -> Weir 76
Bench
Mengi, Bondswell, Peart-Harris & Elliott

Denmark 1-1 Switzerland was the result in the other game.

1) England.........4...5-2
2) Croatia..........4...3-2
3) Denmark.....--1...3-4
4) Switzerland....1...3-6

A draw in the last game against host Denmark will be enough to qualify for the tournament as group winner or as one of the best runner-ups......but to win the qualification group would be important for the confidence and of course to be in pot 1 for the Euros.

The U19's are playing right now their last game for the Euro qualification against Denmark......0-0 after 35 minutes (Embarrassing :rolleyes:)....it's a must-win game for the Young Lions and they must hope that Greece wouldn't beat Czech Republic in the other game (Currently 1-1).

Subs
Poveda-Ocampo -> Aarons 46

Gomes -> Harper 72

Bench
McGill, Ferguson, Gibson & Appiah

In one of the other seven qualification groups....Norway have qualified as second team (after Ireland) for the U19 Euros in Armenia (They were in a group with Germany, Croatia & Hungary).

England 2-2 Denmark

Final table
1) Czech Republic....6...7-6
2) England..........---4...7-5
3) Greece...............4...5-6
4) Denmark............2...5-7

That has to be the end for Keith Downing!!!! :mad: Thank you for the Euro title in 2017 but the Euros in Finland last year were already disappointed and what has happened at St George's Park in the last days is just a disaster :mad:
Yes he has started the campaign with Sancho, Hudson-Odoi, Foden & Smith Rowe but he had still players like Aarons, Saka, Gomes, Harper, Panzo, Guehi, Lamptey, McEachran or Gallagher (M.Greenwood would have been a option for the Euros too) and Greece, Czech Republic & Denmark weren't the toughest opponents.

Qualified teams for the U19 Euros
Armenia (Host)
Ireland
Norway
France
Italy
Portugal
Czech Republic
Netherlands or Spain

The U20's are playing right now their last match of the Elite League season against Portugal.
The Netherlands are already the winners of the Elite League 2018-2019 season......the Young Lions are currently on the 4th place (Portugal are on the 2nd place) but they could still finish on the 2nd place like last season with a win in Penafiel and no win for Germany (They are currently 1-0 up against Poland).
There were a few squad changes in the last days.

Starting XI
Balcombe - James, Godfrey, Wilmot, Pearce - Ronaldo Vieira, Tavernier, J.Willock - Nketiah, Hirst, Eze
Bench
Austin, Schofield, D.Sterling, Feeney, Downes, Dozzell, Field, McNeil & Diangana

Dalot starts for Portugal.

Pretty much full rotation then.

Lively game so far in Bournemouth.

It must be said again.....sold-out :)
They just said on German TV that many people are still waiting outside the stadium.

edit: and 0-1 Dahoud :) Lovely pass by Maier and Dahoud with a nice finish

Typical Boothroyd performance, tactically clueless but gets away with it. Need to see some tactical reaction in the second half, prove that he knows a little at least.

Didn't see him in any lineups and seems to have lost a bit of hype. However, I've just seen that he got two decent assists on friday.
He started the first two matches. Got 2 assists in the win. He came on as a sub in the 3rd match.

To clarify, that's for the u19s.

The last team is Spain......massive blow for the Netherlands and i would say also for the U19 level that players like Gravenberch, Redan, Kokcu, Ihattaren, Castillo, Reis, Geertruida or Bakker will not get such a tournament experience :(
