It's a toss up between Flintoff and Ricky Ponting amongst the English and Aussies.

Never saw him in action :(

But I like Tendulkar, even though his technique isn't as good as Lara's. Both legends.

Sehwag is a fun slogger to watch at times.

Jacques Kallis when on form was excellent.

Akram was a terrific bowler, but I've never thought of him as a good batter.

Viv Richards. Seen some magnificent players, such as Gavasker, Miandad, Greenidge, Chappell, Lloyd, etc etc but he was something else. Especially pre-84. As for quick bowlers, Imran, Lillee, Marshall, Holding, Garner, Younis, Akram, Ambrose. . . all fantastic.

a true lancastrian :)

Yes.

I liked Roger Harper too. Effortless in the field.

Also Neil Fairbrother. I think he didn't get a fair crack at Test level.

i loved derek randall.

his hundred in the centenary test in aus was brilliant.

he doffed his cap to dennis lillie :D

Remember Boycott versus Holding? Holding made him look rather silly.

Greg Chappell, Allan Border, Desmond Haynes, Martin Crowe, Geoff Boycott (just because the Aussies hated him and at times couldn't get him out)!!!

The big hitters are the best to watch.

Viv Richards,
Greenwich
Miandad
Lamb
Botham
Gower
And of course Chris Tavare
Etc.

Im not saying they were the best, but they certainly were entertaining.

Great fast Bowlers?
Garner
Holding
Marshall
Walsh
Ambrose
Imran Kahn
Wasim Akram
And of course…
Derek Pringle

apart from the  s you have a great taste in cricket, KK. A lot unlike from your taste in football teams.

Compared to the greats he may have achieved feck all, and he may be an Aussie cnut, but Mark Waugh was a joy to watch almost everytime he played.

How nobody can mention Sobers is beyond me

I doubt most of us got to see him play. Otherwise, Bradman, The Three Ws, Hammond and others of their ilk would've got mentions too.

I dont need to give my nomination.
Yuvraj is great to watch as well. And finally fulfilling his immense potential. Gayle is probably the best entertainer today.
