If true, it epitomises that which is wrong with Real. They desperately need a no. 10, a playmaker, but they are now reportedly spending a fortune on a no. 9 (note: btw, in recent seasons they don't seem willing on splashing big on any one individual player). Another top class no. 9 - seeing they already have Ruud. They've never replaced Zidane and now with Beckham gone as well - they look seriously lacking in goal creators.
