Omarlogic happening to me in the other GW, bidding more than the AI has and close to the fee he's set for a player on the transfer list... yet he still keeps doubling the fee! :houllier:

feck sake, lost out on Walcott.

Screwed for strikers now.
Derby's team now

Wiese (90)

Torosidis (89) Coloccini (89) Basa (88) Tremoulinas (89)

Topal (88) Chantoma (89)

Walcott (90) Turan (90) Barnetta (90)

Osvaldo (89)

...and they're 14th. That is a side that could easily fight for the title. Good luck RS.

Compare that to mine when all fit (top of the league):

Krul (88)

Piszczek (90) Shawcross (88) Lescott (90) Nagatomo (89)

Parker (90) Kacar (88)

Varela (89) de Jong (89) Gaitan (89)

Yarmolenko (89)

Tbf, only one of my players now were here from before the last transfer rush. I replaced nearly my whole team with a player + 1 in rating, sometimes 2. We're only 6 points off promotion play-offs, and are in decent form. If only my players hadn't have been spastics for a few weeks mid-season, we'd be looking a lot better in the table.

I agree. That slump in mid-season was weird. You went from having the best defensive record in the league to conceding 7 goals at home. You've still got a lot of tough games left though but if you win some of them you could get yourself back in the reckoning for the playoffs. In order for that to happen you won't be able to afford dropping that many points though. Playoffs look unlikely but you're getting back in form while some other teams above you are out of form.

Yeah, it was my fault though. I got one or two bad results, so started to change things. I tried a few different formations and tactics, but nothing worked. I eventually went back to what I did at the start, keeping it solid enough, and ever since I've been in good form. Not too confident about playoffs, but a top half finish would be nice.

Darlington is pleased to announce the arrival of highly talented striker Joel Campbell, who plays for Costa Rica & will hope to find a spot in Arsenal's first team next season.

His best career moment came when he scored a brilliant goal against World Champions Spain in a friendly which ended 2-2.

Joel Campbell becomes Darlington's record signing at 3m pounds.
