She went from being one of the best to worst.
Actually I meant just for this show. I have finally stopped watching now thankfully. When was Robin the best or one of the best characters on TV?
I was very bored by the two parter, ending was very predictable and not much funny about it. The first half with the pit and Silence of the Lambs references was very poor. Second part, I just didn't care as I feel no sympathy towards Ted and Robin and they were central in it.
What are you on about that? That's whats wrong with this show, things like that aren't funny. It's no longer a good sitcom and it's never been a good drama.
Actually didn't see the Barney twist coming which is ridiculously stupid of me. Enjoyable episode nonetheless. Hopefully they end the series this year. Reaching a point where you think Ted should just get a mail order bride.
Eh? No part of that was funny, none of it was meant to be. Parts of this show (and Scrubs) aren't funny. Sitcoms can have other dimensions as well you know. Scrubs was brilliant at turning humour into drama. Dr Cox losing his patients was about as sad as a sitcom gets. Marshall's dad dying was very similar. Sitcoms don't always have to be laugh-out-loud funny. They can be quite moving at times.
Sitcoms should predominantly be about about comedy, this show hasn't been funny for quite a while now (bar one or two little moments per episode) and their attempts at drama are pretty awful. And the character development is incredibly incoherent. I wouldn't care if it went from being a decent comedy to being a decent drama but it's gone from being a decent comedy to be being one of the worst dramas on TV at the moment.Eh? I thought it was the best episode of the show in years, and reminded me of why I used to like it so much.

Scrubs at least tired to remain funny throughout it's run... it always attempted to make comedy just as bigger part of the show as the drama, to varying degrees of success of course (though the quality of Scrubs never dropped as heavily as HIMYM has in my opinion).
Not sure about that really. I loved both HIMYM and Scrubs when they were good, but I think the drop for Scrubs was as significant as it's been for HIMYM. It's true that Scrubs at least tried to be a comedy, but it failed so miserably in the last seasons (pretty much the whole "new interns"-stuff) that I'd honestly rather have if they stopped trying and made it more of a drama. All about personal opinion of course, but IMO late-Scrubs was as poor comedy-wise as HIMYM has been in the past seasons.
I agree with Wowi.. Scrubs had a considerable dip as well. I would say it was pretty much unwatchable as well in S6 and 7 just like HIMYM has been since last season. Recovered in the last season somewhat and had a good finale. Infact even S4 and 5 of scrubs were very average bar odd episodes. The first 3 seasons were uber though

It was pretty good when I was 15 and became emotionally attached to it. I think that's why most people watch it, being too young to know any better and then having put too much into the show not to find out who the fecking mother is.So, I watched my first episode of this the other day. I don't know what one or where abouts in the series it was. The main incredibly dull guy was being coerced by the bigger incredibly dull guy and the smooth, only interesting guy to work for the smooth only interesting guy to make a building, which involved the only interesting guy pulling his "moves" on the smaller incredibly dull guy. Also a boring girl was trying to get over someone we never saw.
It was terrible. You're all awful, awful people.
Hopefully.Is this the last season?
Is this the last season?
By the way, the next episode after Xmas is apparently called...
Band or DJ, which leads me to believe we'll meet Barney's sister who'll be in the band and then they'll tease us to thinking she's the mother for 12 episodes before it turns out to be a red herring and it was someone else.
It's not so much 'hate' as criticism Cina, and you thought it was a great episode because the first half was funny, and the second moving. As I explained, I hardly laughed at all during the first half (did you really find the theme of the pit 'funny'?), and I also clearly stated why the drama moments didn't move me at all. So as far as I'm concerned, it wasn't a good episode, not especially worse or better than the previous ones, just the same mediocrity. Though Barney was pretty class when he just came over and proposed without saying a word.

I would actually say Season 4 is my favourite series... I'd say that was Scrubs at its height.
No. They will make the final decision in January, but as it seems, there will be another season - the last one. Money talks - the actors were initially against it but a huge payrise might help.
I cannot get into Louie at all. So many people who usually like the shows I like rate it, but I think it's a bit shite.
Did you give it a fair run? I turned it off after 15 minutes into the first episode and didn't watch it again for months but it's really grown on me since.
least funny show ever.
