Excerpts from the article:
"Which boy doesn't dream about playing for Real, Barca, Chelsea or Manchester United? That's nothing to be ashamed of," he told Sport1.

The attacking midfielder, who has six caps for the national side, has a €45.5 million [£38m] release clause, and the player's representative, Roger Wittmann, insists the full figure will have to be met to trigger a departure from Schalke.

Bale and Ronaldo are distant dreams and this boy ain't half bad. Can play in the left or the center, is two-footed, a good dribbler, has a good shot on him and is very creative. IMO, he has potential to be world class in the next couple of years. Will only be 20 in September this year.

The fees seems high but if reports are to be believed we were ready to spend around €38m on Moura last summer. He also won't command very high wages, so the total cost won't be that high.

I hope we are interested in him.

real, barca, United and Chelsea. One of them is not like the others.

German Nicky Powell

Erm, 109 starts for Schalke and 6 International caps for Germany would beg to differ. Atm, he's a much better player for his age.

Anyway, he just signed a new contract in May so I can't see him leaving, but it does have that £38m release clause in it.

My bad.

I'm a fan. People usually say he is a central player, but I think he could be great on the left.

Zieler? Although, he was kinda a youth player - so first team wise, not that I can think of.

Yeah, he is the only one I can think of. We have basically ignored the best markets for talent in the past decade (Spanish and German).

Not that we have done too badly without them. Top German players usually end up at Bayern.

We also showed interest in Silva and signed DeGea.

Yeah, it's a strange one. I can see why we may have avoided signings from Spain over the past few years (players don't tend to adapt as well), but there have been plenty of great German players who have graced the premier league and made the transition with ease. Seem's a shame, hopefully that will change in the future.

Markus Neumayr

Another one, but also a reserve player.

I pray we get him or someone German. It may sound wrong but being German, I would love to see someone from my own nationality in United...

Ferguson would always buy British where possible to be honest. Until he developed an obsession with the Portuguese league!

Yeah, last decade has been our most successful in Europe, and we were as dominant as ever domestically. It's not as if we haven't been linked with these players. I remember we were linked with Ballack a lot too before he accepted Chelsea's riches. But still considering the abundance of players that are coming through these countries, you would have expected some of them to join them.

Would be very nice to start singing a couple of Germans. Bout time. They are just technically superior period! Draxler would be a much more realistic option than Modric, Thiago or Fabregas and affordable too.

Think Thiago is pretty realistic, not too fussed about other two anyway.

Moyes was always ******* over Schalke if reports are to be believed and we were apparently interested in Holtby too (although much of that might be due to his dad supporting Everton).

Draxler is a wide forward or a second striker and he's really expensive with €45m. I don't really understand why you would see him as an affordable option compared to Modric, Thiago or Fabregas. That doesn't make sense at all.

You wouldnt be happy if we signed the other 2?

Not at the price Schalke want for him.

He was Schalke's one bright light at Old Trafford when we tonked them in 2011.

Smart decision then. Even Dortmund had a bid for him this summer. He's going to end up at one of the big clubs anyways, inevitable. Better to stay at Chalke and develop himself further.

That assist is just brilliant improvisation.

Hmm... Must have been an arranged friendly type of deal because wiki says he plays for Al-Sadd now. He should have come to Sydney.. Del Piero and Raul up front .

I highly doubt that Dortmund had a bid for him, they must know that he's never going to play for them.
