Made a mistake on that list its "The Perfect Host" not "The Host" Stars the guy who played Miles in Frasier. It's just an enjoyable little psycho thriller. Nothing to violent. Just a quirky and a nice surprise of a film.

Thanks, I've seen The Lazarus Project and I can't recommend it enough to people, but they just won't watch it! I'll check out the others later.
It's very good though it peters out at the end and the possible supernatural elements were not resolved.

Wolf of Wall Street being 3 hours is a slight worry. Marty in his hey day wouldn't touch that length, any time hes gone near it recently, the film suffers because of it. Plus the rush job to get it out this year....had hopes him and Leo finally made a great film. Hope they still have but eh.

What's the plan for those parachuters? To land on Godzilla? That's pretty cool.

Looks great though, can't be worse than the 1998 Godzilla.

Very convenient how they have trails of red smoke behind them. Useful for wide shots definitely. The strategic advantage, from an attack point of view, it gives them though, I just can't wrap my head around.

Is Heisenberg in it? I thought I recognized him for a second somewhere in there.

Unsure if someone has mentioned Side Effects in this thread.

Just finished watching it and highly recommend it for anybody who likes psychological thrillers with some lovely twists.

I'd give it 8/10

Phil Joanou directed that PUNISHER short. Think it was shown at Comicon last year.
Adi "Brand" Shankar is the producer on both films. He gets other people to direct them but he's the creative force behind them.

Wasn't he (and Thomas Jane) trying to get people interested in another PUNISHER flick or something? I seem to recall that at the time?

EDIT: Answered my own question! Yeah, apparently comic fan Thomas Jane made it through his comic company RAW STUDIOS and claims it was his "fan letter" to the character rather than an attempt to get another film off the ground with him returning as Frank Castle.

Yup, he's doing this whole bootleg universe which is these little fan films. He gets in great talent for them. The Guy is an executive producer on a fair few big films which tells me he's loaded for someone that young to be an executive producer.

Just IMDB'd him and must look at that Venom short. Also great to see Lawrence Block's Matt Scudder getting another shot in the movies!

That really is just a teaser trailer in that it showed basically nothing, but there isn't a movie im looking more forward to next year than this.

That's exactly what I want from a teaser, it's intriguing but gives nothing away. Too many trailers give away half the plot or spoil the films set pieces. Just look at that Godzilla trailer, it's a good watch but that's because it shows one of the films spectacular scenes which I'd really rather not see before hand!
