Yep, Lance knows them both. Emulator is Spectaculator 8.0, emulates various ZX Spectrum machines.
I bought Double Dragon II yesterday and have been playing it today. Never been interested in beat 'em ups much apart from Turtles 2 on the NES, but I've been enjoying this, it's a good game. Great music, too.

Nope. The only Turtles games I've played are the first two on the NES.
Yeah I played the first one a little bit on the Mega Drive Collection on the PS3.
Great game, I wasted many many hours of my life on that.
Really recommend you to give it a try, it's phantastic.
NES version or arcade version?
Yeah I always hear good things about it. I don't like emulators though and it's a pretty expensive gave so it might be a while before I get to play it

It's pretty good, I used to complete it on a weekly basis. The arcade version is a completely different game. I never understood why that was.
Yeah I saw a video of the arcade version and it is very different. I know pretty much nothing about the series though so I have no idea why that would be.
It would be cool to get arcade machines of some of the best games, but that would be a bit mental really.

You can distract him while I fill up one of those cars with some games.
Love retro gaming. Although games like Fallout are amazing, a lot of games just don't last like they did in the old time.
Some of my favorites are:
Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max etc etc (Love these type of games. If you can recommend me a good one, I would be happy)
Streets Of Rage series, Golden Axe, Sonic, Shinobi. I loved the megadrive. The games where so fun
I think the game that goes the furthest back for me was Gauntlet. I used to play that with my older brother and loved it...

Indiana Jones was one I never played, but loved the Lucas Arts series

7th Guest, although not really the same

I know you should never judge a book by its cover, but the front cover never really got me, but I will definitely give it a go
@Olly Super Double Dragon 2 on the SNES was one of my favorite games as a kid!
I haven't played and of the SNES ones. I'll probably end up looking to get the other NES and SNES ones though as I'm enjoying DD II on the NES
Got my first Final Fantasy game (FFX) today along with a couple of other PS2 games. Pretty sure I'm going to have no idea what I'm doing, and I was wanting to try the 2D ones first, but it was only £1.50 so I figured I'd give it a shot.

My problem with Grim Fandango was that some puzzles made too little sense. Any of you completed it without any sort of help whatsoever? I got desperate at times when I played it at the time.
That said, it's so beautiful that I've played through it all not more than an year ago, and I'm not a fan of playing old games at all.

All of the Lucasart games are totally bizarre when it comes to puzzles. Monkey Island especially.

Such an amazing game. Arguable the best adventure game of all time. Just saw it's on Steam, might pick it up again. That one along with Grim Fandango and Monkey Island 1&2 are the best of the bunch IMO.
