Messi was great from the 65 minute on but up until that point he had been the worst player on the pitch. Ronaldo isn't fit.

No I don't like one better than the other. Neither has played like the best in the world.

Anywho who really cares anyway even the greatest WC players needed to have talent around play well.
I agree with everything but that he was the worst player on the pithc. But he was poor, yeah, picked it up in the 2nd.

How come you don't like him. what's the story?
A post doesn't allow the characters necessary to describe. In short: Löw is the personified arrogant, stubborn hypocrit, darling daddy, anti-leader, truth-massager. A sack of potatoes could manage this generation of Germany and would have the same "success".

Why not? The Argies were hopeless last night and Messi took all the blame.
Which is ridiculous because messi won the game. Argentina were also playing against Bosnia and not Germany, with all due respect to us. They also have other players who can do something and supply him the ball, unlike Portugal today. Much easier to do something when you are on the better team. Germany is miles better then Portugal.

We are really screwed. God forbid Ronaldo also gets injured. Portuguese media reporters on the pitch are speculating WC is over for Coentrão.

At least he's not fully given up.

Fighting a massively losing battle but looks a threat when he's on the ball.

This has been a disaster for Portugal though.

Tbh, it's easily to graciously take the blame when you've just won the game. Ronaldo has nothing to do with this thrashing, why should he take the blame? Just because he's CR? That's being unfair and you know it.

Another thing that's down to Pepe. Less players, have to run more, more fatigued, more misplaced passes, Coentrao pulls muscle, no more subs, Ronaldo will have to play the whole match. It's crazy how many things can happen on pitch just because somebody's absolutely stupid.

On top of that, it's probably last match in WC for Coentrao.

I wonder if Germany have called it a day or is it the heat that's having an effect on them? Still don't think World Cups should be played in those kinda climates.

They are but they're also much more open. Bosnia played a great defensive game and had a great shape. Even 20 mins into this game Ronaldo had a shot clean in on the keeper, and would have had another if almeida hadn't been greedy.

For enough you might not do it, but a lot of folk who literally got wet at the thought of Messi not scoring last night, are now making excuse after excuse for Ronaldo.

The fans can blame Bento if you don't go through. Ronaldo should've been taken off to preserve him for the next two, must win matches. Pepe and Coentrao are obviously write offs at this point.

Today's Nani is the one that I'm very much used to these past two seasons. But some on here still are insistent on proclaiming him some sort of great player.
He is in the top 3 wingers in the world. Not his fault managers refuse to play him regularly.

Germany aren't going full force at all this second half. Hardly any intensity or sprints...but bound to change with Schürrle.
