Like I said before Hulk has the same role that Park Ji Sung had during Manchester United 07/08 season.
Park provided defensive protection, midfield support and made those around him play better thanks to his selfless nature and intelligent play. I'm not sure any of that applies to Hulk?

very weird that brazil are already playing their 2nd game and russia and south korea have not even play a game yet
I think that's fair when the middle game of the day is considered the peak game in terms of local and world viewing. Not because its Brazil per se, but because its the hosts. Its always good for the tournament when the hosts have a decent showing.

Park provided the balance to the squad to counter the lack of defending from Ronaldo. Hulk role is roughly the same in reference to Neymar. He supposed to track back, cover and help defend on the right side. He actually does that fairly well, it's the offense part he struggles badly at.

Any possibility that it will be a high scoring game? I seldom watch Mexico. Are they defensively oriented or an attacking team?

I would say they are a very atacking oriented team, and defense actually stinks (besides Moreno and Marquez noone else can defend his life on set pieces). Should be plenty of goals on this one. As you can see on the previous page, of the last 6 matches there has been no draws and 14 goals scored.

Hoping Mexico can pull off another upset like in 2012, I know they're not the same teams, but we usually play well against Brazil :)

I'm going for 2-1 Mexico, though a plucky 1-0 is probably just as likely if things do go Mexico's way.

The Vegas line probably has 2-1 Brasil as the most likely result.

This should be a good game. Mexico broke the hearts of many of the young Brazilians in this team couple years ago at the Olympics.

I hope Neymar gets sent off and Brazil lose. That would be hilarious. He should've been sent off for that elbow so it would be justice.

Pfft, Olympics? I bet they we're barely bothered. How do you even think that their hearts were broken?

That Brazilian midfield. Christ. Paulinho, Ramires and Gustavo. Should just chuck a couple more defensive mids in there; after all, it's not like Brazil are famous for their flair, is it?

Wouldn't mind neymar to score a goal, he has an incredible record for brazil
Used to know a guy called Ryan Cooke, he was blinded when it came to guys with that kind of physique too.

Paulinho and Ramires are not defensive midfielders. I agree that they are not creative, I would categorize them as box-box.

You need to do your research better. If you read the news you'd know that day had the highest pollen count recorded for 62 years in the UK. Oscar said after the game that it affected the Brazilians and even played a part in them conceding the winning goal.
