Evra will only stay for another year though so he'd only be 3rd choice for this year, and if we sold him we'll be forced to find another backup in a years time. If we wanted to we could still try to loan him out to another premiership club to see how he fares/progresses. If he does well he could come back and be 2nd choice again, if he doesn't then find someone else, we don't really have anything to lose by giving him a chance IMO. I do have a soft spot for him as do like his style and commitment and one thing that I really love about United has been our ability to find these players such as Vidic, Evra and Chicharito who come out of the blue to become stars. I feel like United's a club that's had a special relationship to it's players and I don't want that to change although I realise that it may have to.
