Liverpool's statement:

Ian Ayre, chief executive officer, said: "Liverpool Football Club will wait until we have seen and had time to review the FIFA Disciplinary Committee report before making any further comment."

absolutely SHAMEFUL-DESPICABLE-CRIMINAL DECISION

1 should have been ONE match and then no more than 10.000 bucks, and that's about it

clearly the scapegoat of the british frustration, I feel ashamed

FIFA: gangsters, Blatter, please die
Are you on WUM, or just stupid?

Why would they not? The only question is if him being transferred means him taking part in a football related activity technically.
well it surelly would count as administartive activty within football which he's been banned from...... but if you follow that line of thought surely paying him counts as an administrative activity within football?

it very vague!!!

If someone punched someone off the ball 3 times, they would get a full years ban in my opinion, possibly longer.

It's completely wrong to compare it to on the ball incidents, and thats what I an others have been forgetting.

I'd be livid if I was a Liverpool fan. How can a player be that stupid again? If I was Rodgers, I wouldn't pay him for those four months out. He doesn't deserve it and it's all his fault that he can't play for them. It's ironic as Liverpool really are the victims this time!

Oh well... I'll get over it!

Not sure what to make of it. 4 months is not a long time and won't affect Liverpools title challenge.

This shit is very funny. The best part for me is not allowing him to enter a football ground for 4 months. Like quarantining a dog with rabies.

I don't know if they can do it. But if they weren't complete idiots they should have put on the new contract that he doesn't get payed if he gets banned for these kind of incidents. And if Suarez has any dignity he should return his wages for these 4 months.

Good, proportionate ban that. All this talk of years etc was just silly.

I can see any potential transfer fee being reduced due to this.

Heavy, for me. The 9 matches was already too much but a 4 month football ban as well? Can't say I am surprised, it is FIFA

Luis Suarez banned from ALL football for 4 months, what does that mean for my FIFA 14 Ultimate Team squad? :(

Liverpool fans on SSN moaning about it punishing Liverpool. Just feck off and get real. It has feck all to do with Liverpool. It's a punishment for Suarez for being a despicable human being.

Liverpool should have got him psychological help in the past two seasons anyway and maybe he wouldn't keep biting people.

His international ban only covers competitive games, I think, so is effectively 6 months. Or so I read

Liverpool's getting very hard done by with this situation, but it is Suarez' fault. I sure as hell wouldn't pay him those four months and even fine him for it.

So in these 4 months are his club going to get him anger management counselling? And by that I mean are they going to hire a scouser with a perm wig and a moustache telling him to "calm down, calm down"?
