More from the van Gaal thread:

What can the fat headed bollock waving c*nt do with the mid-table mancs? According to manc logic, without european football they should walk the league next season. We might as well just give them the premier league now.

Still waiting for the next instalment on banner watch. What cringeworthy embarrassing banner will we see this season? Will his whole head be able to fit on a banner?
He's a fat headed ugly c*nt isn't he! Cant ]stand him already and cant stand UTD fans treating him as a legend even though he's never managed a game for them yet. Cant wait for it all go to shit to hear the excuses and back tracking! c*nts.

Then a United fan comes out with:

I'm very jealous of Liverpool's silverware last season, I must admit.

to which a RAWKite responds with:

Stop talking about the past.

"Nike want out because the mancs are clearly on a downward curve. A few more seasons of mediocrity and they'll be on half a million shirts sales a year if they're lucky."

The amount of times they're referring to us as midtable wankers. Not technically wrong, but still....they've been midtable more amount of times than us in the past few years. Oh, but I'd probably get called out for "living in the past" now that I've mentioned that.

Can't wait for the season to kick on. I'm beginning to think the Scouse boom bust cycle is more about the long game nowadays.

EDIT: I'm must've forgotten about net spend or something.

A United fan posted: "One year on second place after half a decade at midtable and already behaving like you just won UCL."

To which a RAWKite replied:
"Just living in the present surely.

Last season you were mid table.

The end."

The united fan posted:"Well - as you shown last year - things change. Going from top to midtable (and vice versa) happens."

Another RAWKite posted:
"But, what everyone fails to remember is that to go from 7th to 2nd, we had to go from 8th to 7th first.

As will you."

Will we?

RAWKite on LVG:

"Leave him alone, he is a genius, they are going to walk the league next season, he isn't Moyes and he is a genius, walking the league, defo, no problem, none at all, easy, dead easy.

You just wait and see how dead easy it is."

Another says:

"Now I can start hating Van Gaal and hopefully the Dutch go back to being a more attacking outfit rather than this piss poor thing they had going with Van Gaal."

Does RAWK have a Newbies forum? I'm not saying that Newbies are inherently daft because I'm still a recently promoted member myself and I don't want to sound like a hypocrite, but it would explain a lot of the mad comments there.

If RAWK had a newbies forum I doubt any United fans would get on the main board. If anything, Redcafe shows a slight bias to those from other teams when promoting people (particularly from foreign countries- which is a good thing I my opinion) because it creates good discussion and more often than not, they tend be helpful knowledgeable sources when we're involved in a transfer with a player from a league most of us don't watch very often.

If you want to be an opposition fan on RAWK, you have to rein in what you say and if you try and crack too many jokes about Liverpool with them you get banned. I think I'm right in saying that a few posters on here have attempted to post there and got booted off.

Nope. Unless you are abusive, you won't get banned. Things can obviously change when/if we win the title and they go in midtable but right now the level of hostility there isn't that high.

Fair enough, when I've looked on there in the past it doesn't seem like it's taken much to get people banned though.

Edit: Oops, mentioned the past again.

RAWK is so deluded that I'm inclined to believe that some regulars there are United fans on wind-up.

Bluemoon is just a deplorable forum in general, I struggle to think a more depressing place on the internet.

Yeah, but you dislike United almost as much as they do.

Are they celebrating Van Gaal going out of world cup? Must be a fun place to be with typical Liverpool fan mentality displaying its true colors. It is on days like these their stupidity reaches peak.
If Rodgers also managed an international side I reckon plenty of United fans would very much want them to go out.

Clive Tyldesley said during commentary last night that it was a 'momentus summer' for Van Gaal, which I thought was an interesting use of the word momentus.
Interesting use of a word that isn't actually a word.
