This post is a thing of beauty, perfectly sums up the increasing level of high almighty posts that tell us all we must blindly trust the manager.

It has the implicated you're all idiots and I'm so reasoned statement with the iconic green smiley.

Has the delusional revisionism to defend LvG then a list of FACTS why we should ignore our own opinions and BELIEVE in LvGs judgement. Oh and even a made up over the top quote .

Bravo sir, good trolling!
Hmmm when i translated this post from gibberish i think i get that you are disagreeing with me.

first of all, I don't troll, second of all i don't blindly trust LVG....i do trust him, just not blindly. for example when we were so sure we were in for Clyne, i did not want. in my opinion i think that Pedro would have added something extra to our attacking line, but LVG didn't want to proceed with that for whatever reason, it isn't a case of blindly trusting him, it's a case of there being feck all we can do about it. Instead it appears we are in for Mane.

Do i think Mane will add something? (pace, creativity) yes i do. is he young enough to be moulded and benefit from our excellent training facilities to add consistency to his game? yes i do. So what exactly is the problem with this potential signing? is it because he doesn't play for one of the wankable clubs in europe? because the point i made in my first post was that he has the attributes that the fans have been saying all summer that we need, but for some reason he is getting such a negative reaction.

Also, you should probably find a way of realising that anger, your passive aggressive post probably isn't healthy.

I think I've puzzled it out.

We've changed our remit in the last few days

Good players which will help us too well = bad plan

Middling players which won't improve us = good plan

In LVG / Woodward's eyes....it all makes sense now

This would be a worse transer than Bebe considering his price. He's a nothing player.

the more I think about it the more mad I get from my initial response to this story

If this is true and we get him, we have ditched Welbz, Nani and Zaha for fecking Mane?
Come on.

Zaha had the wrong attitude. It didn't help that last pre season there was a optional training session and he was the only one who did not show up.

Welbeck wanted to leave long before Van Gaal came. Then he realised he wouldn't be a starter under Van Gaal he decided that he wanted to leave again. Some strange reason to sit on the bench at Arsenal.

What a nightmare, I really hope we are not going to buy him. It's like a kid waking up on Christmas day, ready to see his ps4 but instead his parents got a ps2. I really don't see him significantly improving us. It will be such an underwhelming signing. Is he really better than what we already have? We have made some great signings this Summer, this will be dissappointing. It's so out of the blue, I won't be surprised if this happens.
:lol::lol:

Very apt description of it all! Would add that Pedro is a solid, if unspectacular PS3 with which you at least can play the latest Fifa game.

BBC doesn't report stuff unless they're really sure about it.
I am not talking about BBC, but media in general. If a bid was launched last week, how come none of them got info on it. Similar thing happened with Darmian as well.

Very interesting I must say. He's an exciting and absolutely inconsistent talent. If we hadn't sold nani for nothing this summer, I'd have understood the need for this kind of a player. But we had a better version of Mane and sold him. Makes little sense to me.
Nani was getting lazy on £150k a week, I imagine Mane, will be cheaper and hungrier.

They're having a meltdown over at Saintsweb as well. Here are a couple of quotes:

God I'm fed up of football. Just **** nowadays.
Can't sell our best player this late in the window. Simple as.
Mane will be snapped up next summer if not before. He is going to be a star player. I would not be surprised if Chelsea did not come in for him.John Terry said he was the best player he came up against last season, and no doubt Mourinho would notice.
We lack pace up front, to lose mane's would be a disaster
TBF, 15m + Januzaj would be a pretty good deal.
To which another poster replied:
I don't think that's a good deal.

I'm not shocked by anything Van Gasl does anymore.

We'll probably pay more for him than we got for all three of those combined.

You think United let it slip that we have bid for this player once the Pedro deal was out in the open? I mean United have bid for this player last week and we get to hear it this week after the pedro deal is lost to Chelsea.

Seems like we're fairly determined to get a winger of some kind, then.

That either will let you play whatever game you want to play without any problems, or will magically launch itself out of your window.

When was the last time we signed a player after briefing interest in them? Can't remember one.

I've always thought he was a very solid player, but needless to say he's not in the same class as Pedro or Muller. It's a weird signing and I'm not convinced it's a good one.

It's all about the Mane, Mane, Mane
All about the Mane, Mane, Mane
He's gonna make the Van Gaal dance,
Forget about the price tag

Nothing on BBC's website. Any reason why it's only a tweet?

I imagine the people who felt we genuinely had a chance at getting Muller will be gutted with this one if it's true.

No they couldn't. Not under LVG certainly.

He won't keep players with bad attitude. Look at how he's treated Valdes, somebody he knew.

Zaha had a terrible attitude. Welbeck wanted to leave twice when he realised he wouldn't be starting every week and wanted to play striker.
