If you actually believe that article and that United took these steps to upgrade their systems because of the De Gea scenario, there is no helping you. Upgrading a few PC's is one thing... signing a partnership with a leading technology firm and planning a technology suite is another altogether.

They haven't actually saved an enormous amount of money if this rumour of a €15m 'penalty' is true. If they can sell Navas, I suspect it won't be for a generous £10m valuation, as was the case this summer. They must be pretty confident he won't sign a new deal to take that risk for a (relatively middling in this market) fee of somewhere in the region of €30m odd.

It's actually not. They report on what is being said across media outlets in Europe. They're not making up the stories so it's not clickbait at all.
The authors are usually pretty good at sifting through whats bullshit and whats not. I'm more inclined to hear what they have to say then the "reputable" outlets.
I have to agree with you about the Telegraph, it used to have one of the best sports sections around, but it seems to have degenerated into something no better than the tabloids. I am now sure about the main paper is now.

Disagree on that, they're usually very transparent about what they're translating and provide sources to back that up. Yes they drive traffic to their website (have to get paid somehow, tweets don't generate much ad revenue) but the content itself is legitimate. Whether the sources themselves are is another story.
I had to block them from my facebook because the ads were so clickbaity. "Chelsea in for new star", etc. Awful lot.
Well, we have people saying two contrasting things without evidence. Just repeating what you think without reference to anything specific just comes off as prejudice.

Now there's rumours of De Gea signing a new deal with United, which if true would suggest Madrid would be pissed at this considering he's going to cost them the original price they never wanted to pay.

Not really, he is still desperate for that move..He wants to play for Real Madrid and they want him too..a failure to get a move this year wont deter..In signing a new contract , I'm sure he'll only sign if they are assurances from United that they will let him go if a reasonable bid comes through from Madrid( See the Suarez and Ronaldo sagas to see that this does happen).He most likely would be signing as a safety net during this period, and Madrid and Mendes would still likely still be in conversation about the move.
But signing a new contract will at least allow United to make a reasonable fee out of this.
I think I actually wouldn't mind it if he signed a new contract with you. It'd be strengthening a rival but it'd be worth it just to see Madrid get screwed over. I'm really not a fan of how the big Spanish two go about their transfers

That is literally the opposite of the purpose of their site. As others have said, they don't create anything new but merely repost or translate news articles and give their opinion on the reliability of sources, etc. It's very useful for determining what is and what is not bullshit.
The Telegraph is just a circle jerk for tories to mutually confirm their outdated views of the world. The Sports section used to be the only saving grace, but is basically just as bad as the rest of the paper now.

People are annoyed at her because she's been publicly speaking about "everything will be easier when he comes to Madrid" etc, which is rather disrespectful considering that he's still a Manchester United player. He is our best player, and she is basically saying that she can't wait for him to leave us. Does DDG blame us? Or Real? Who was truly to blame? My gut tells me it was Real. I think they did a u turn on the fee in the end. And if that's the case then maybe we can convince DDG to sign a new contract.

I think the only reason he would sign a new deal so we get what is a fair fee for him and not lose him on a free. Once everything has settled down I think we may be able to get him to sign a new deal for that reason. But who knows.

Yeah and it more than likely was down to them. But we don't know that for sure and we also don't know which side DDG is taking. I'm sure he's been told 2 completely different stories from both clubs.
