You can see from the thread, actually. It went from these...
what a debut! brilliant first episode.

Billy Bob xd... feck yeah!
Loving this shit

another good episode
I like everything except for Freeman. He's playing it too much like Macy. I wish he would put his own stamp on it.
Another good episode. The lead actress is very likeable.

 @ the Hess siblings.
Consistently quality episodes so far.
Just binged through the first five today. I thought it was great. Hopefully that'll hold up when I'm waiting a week between episodes though.
To these..
Christ almighty. That episode was the most mind numbingly dull hour of TV I've watched in a long time. Would feck it off altogether if there wasn't only two more left.

Compete shit. Implausible, nonsensical drivel, clearly being written on the fly with entire plot strands that go nowhere and others that are complete filler.
I was going to post something similar earlier but I didn't think 53 minutes of utter boredom like that was worthy of spending 20 seconds finding the thread for.

Just awful.
that was nonsense

I agree this season is much more promising than the first, there seem to be far more interesting characters this time around. And now it has Bruce Campbell as well, that seals it.

That was excellent. You can tell it's building up to a bloodbath.

So is this show worth a watch? I'm hearing good things and I clearly value the opinions of you lot more than websites etc. Clearly.

Season 2 has been excellent so far. Season 1 was alright, very good start but disappointing in the middle. You can watch season 2 without watching season 1.

Season 2 is a lot less concerned with Easter eggs to the film which is helping it a lot, I think. That and there are a lot of good characters, whereas season one only really had Billy-Bob.

Sure, but they're going to be very loosely (very, very loosely) connected, so not sure watching season 1 is absolutely necessary, which is what I was saying to amol.
Well you can at least tell the fate of a couple of characters.

And for all the criticism of season 1, it was a lot of fun.

Fantastic episode again. Kept me on the edge of my seat and it was over before I knew it. Can't wait to see where this is going.

Brilliant episode once again, loved the opening scene as well. The music in this  Can't wait for the next 3 episodes.
The ending was even better. Was expecting a lot from the undertaker.

Simone's plotline, even in the end wasn't expecting it to happen.

The moment the Undertaker walked in the bedroom, I knew that it was going to end like that. Funny way to bring that along with the stylish introduction of the character (lift, and then walking into the corridor) just to expedite him.

Simone's ending was quite sad ultimately, you understood more and more she was probably abused by her father and was thrust into this life without much choice, but had come to a certain level of acceptance (what she said to the cop in the lift, something like 'I may go to the noose but I won't lay down for another man'). The recurring theme of women trying to affirm themselves is great in this season.

Loads of references to Coen films as well.

I liked most of the last season. It tailed off a bit towards the end admittedly, but I didn't think it was a huge drop. It just drifted along. It did that through a lot of the early episodes too.

I think it's much the same story with this season. I love the universe and aesthetics but don't have a lot of love for the plot or even the characters. It's a fairly enjoyable watch but not a great show overall, IMO.

Perhaps cheap to throw in so many obvious Lebowski references but I loved that anyway. Cracking episode as usual.

I've watched about 20 minutes of the latest episode. Peggy/Kirsten Dunst is completely bonkers  That scene where Meth Damon comes back from the convenience store, realizes Peggy stabbed Dodd and Dodd tries to get across how frightened of Peggy he is, had me in stitches.

Seemed so reckless of Dodd to leave Peggy alive when he had the chance to kill her or otherwise incapacitate her, especially when she was crawling towards him. Good episode otherwise. Peggy is indeed completely bonkers and that hanging scene was intense.

Had you noticed the hanging man game in the phone booth Ed kept going to? With the inscription in the dust 'Sioux Falls'?

The music in this season is excellent too, love it.

Yes I was thinking to myself that had to be meaningful one way or another as it was so clearly visible. What I didn't see coming was that I had to interpret it literally. :D
Peggy casually stabbing him twice and then going on to feed him was great too!

Kirsten Dunst was really fantastic this episode (even better than in the previous ones).

Why did Hanzee went full crazy in the end? Didn't see it coming until he started philosophizing and then I knew that it was game over for Dodd.

I think he was mainly fed up of being treated like shit by pretty much everyone, he'd reached tipping point (as showed by the scene in the bar).

Yeah, that makes sense. Although, up to that point it looked like he had total loyalty to Dodd.

Yet another top episode . Dodd bursting for the toilet made me laugh.

It was one of the most bonkers and mental hours of TV I've seen in years, and brilliant!

Kirsten Dunst is the star of the show, she's hilariously crazy in it. The scene where she's stabbing Dodd and making him show her manners had me laughing so hard, and feeding him the beans

Her feeding him the beans was a brilliant touch. He'd refused them and she just went and force fed him, it was almost more violent than the stabbing and you could really sense his fear.

Yep. Be interesting to see where it goes. They've paced it far better than the first season, really feels like it's all building up to a big bloody mess.
