Just hope we are in better shape by this time with some additions in February. The clubs morale could be improved with a long run in this tournament.

Nice draw, go all in in the first leg and rest a few for the 2nd. Then again I thought we'd easily handle our CL group so yeah...

I wonder if we can actually manage to score against these lot? Really hoping we don't get embarrassed yet again. Dreading seeing yet another 0-0, but even our second string 11 should be comfortably beating these guys.

If we get most of our players back it should be straightforward. From what I've heard they're good at set pieces? Something to watch out for, especially when we've conceded 4 set piece goals in the last 2 games.

If this means were easily through to the last 16 then atleast it could give the fans some excitement with a possible quarterfinal two games away.

Good draw. I wanted either one of the best sides (Dortmund, Napoli, Valencia) or one of the weakest (these guys for example). As long as we avoided the likes of Lazio, Basel, Fenerbahce etc. - the ones that have a decent chance of beating us but are also not that good or exciting enough for it to be worth it.

This is 2 months from now. All predictions are pretty pointless at this point. I imagine two months ago most had different expectations than today.

If my memory serves me well they're the ones who knocked out Southampton in the qualifiying stages.

Well this will make it awkward when the first person utters "Theres no easy games in the Europa League" should we lose.

Their last game in the league was 20th of November. They won't play a competitive match again until this tie will come up. Surely we can't manage to feck this one up.

This lot knocked the Saints out in the Europa first knock-out round, after having come in from CL pre-qualification (beat the Gibraltar semi-pro team Lincoln Red Imps before losing to APOEL of Cyrpus).

In the group stages they lost their two games with Napoli 9-1 on aggregate and that should be the type of score we aspire to emulate. We beat Club Brugge (also in the Danes' EL group) 7-1 on aggregate at the start of our CL qualifying. However, as we have only scored 9 in total in our last 11 games, that has to be a bit of a stretch

Still, if we cannot beat this lot over 2 legs then Louis really may as well pack it in ...

FC Midtjylland European Results Season 2015/16-

3Q APOEL 1–2 1–0 2–2(a)
UEFA Europa League PO

Napoli 1–4 0–5
Club Brugge 1–1 3–1

Yes they did, and they've never lost to English opposition. However they're not that strong...I'd say about Bournemouth's level..........OH SHIT!!!!

They knocked Southampton out (2-1 on aggregate) and had Club Brugge in their group drawing 1-1 at home and beating them 3-1 away.

I think you'll win but it won't be straight forward.

Nothing, absolutely nothing, is straightforward for this team so you're spot on there.

Denmark. I know nothing else apart from a young lad called Sisto being very good to use on FIFA.
They won the SuperLiga (sp?) last season. Owned by Matthew Benham (who also owns Brentford), applying tons of football analytics, specialzed in set pieces, e.g. work with an American football kick specialist etc.

If you're interested, you may want to google for two articles on their approach: One was in the Guardian, another one on SI, both released end of spring / early summer IIRC.
