Wow this poll has changed an awful lot since yesterday.
I think today was the equivalent of Moyes' performance versus Fulham. A lot of us, myself included, are now fed up with van Gaal and want him out.

12/19/2015, think it's fair to label today's date as the the day van Gaal lost the majority of the Manchester United supporters support.

we have no other choice.

The club took a risk with moyes and it backfired, lvg is doing the same. Just get Jose.

Dont think Mourinho will see the sideline in any moment soon. He will take the year to recover and come back fresh next season.
If he get a call from us I think he will be desperate to join, after all the mess happened to him this season.

Very conflicted. Has an air of inevitability to it right now though. Can only hope if it happens that the stars are aligning and it will be the ideal move for both sides.

Well guess it's either him or Giggsy. Unless somehow LvG gets another yard of rope

Prefer him over LVG, but voted No. I hope we can get someone who's not a complete circus.

Well if we miss out on Pep and Ancelotti, there's no other option really.

Maybe Jose will be motivated again.

He looks our best option, possibly only option, if it's true about Ancelotti going to Bayern and Pep to City.

Mourinho is made for United. He will bring back the attacking style with tough defending.
United needed some tough tacklers in the side as no one wants to tackle hard against Norwich.
Schnerderlin should be in the side and Mourinho who is the best tactician in business will
galvanize the United team.

Would defnately prefer Giggs than Jose

The biggest worry for me right now if Lvg goes is that the board might go for this cnut

Changed my vote. I want Pep but I'd take Steve fecking Kean over LVG at the moment.

If Mourinho signs for Utd next week it's officially the maddest ever week in the history of football management. Instead of carrying stories the media will deliver newspapers containing blank back pages splattered with their own filthy juices.

Giggs to Jose?

Are you on drugs?

What has Giggs done that you'd prefer him to Jose? Giggs is no saint too.

We need a big reality check re Pep. I wouldn't be surprised if he went to Chelsea. It's London which appeals to the 'wife'. He'll get a massive salary, won't have a problem getting players to sign.

I know people think its City, but they're not going to change their manager until after the UCL and PL is all done

If its a choice between Jose, Giggs and LvG, I'd stick with LvG till the end of the season, then move heaven and earth for Pep in the summer.

I don't think it sends the right message to the players that if the team under performs, the manager gets the sack. The players have some accountability here too.

Bottom line is we need to secure Pep ASAP.

I would prefer Ian dowie over Jose in fairness

I have a strong dislike of mourinho and do not want him managing the club I support

This is the mentality which has hot us here after SAF retired. Giggs should be no where near the manager's position without proving himself elsewhere before.

I fear Louis has lost the players. I really do.

And if that's the case, he has to go - now.

And then - call Maureen. It's the reasonable thing to do, strange as it may sound. He'll turn this around short-term. He wants the gig and he'll be going at it like a man possessed, not least to prove his doubters wrong after the Chelsea debacle. We don't have to give him anything but a very short contract either. See how he fares for the rest of the season.

I wanted to give LVG a chance to finish the season.
But given that Mourinho is really angry, with a point to prove and is eager to get back into management - I want him appointment on Monday.
I want us to win the title next year (I don't care if the football is ugly - we need to stop the rot).

The board is very conservative in its own way. Would be amazed if they took on a depreciated Mourinho years after they snubbed a guy still in the mix for world number one.

Do you think he would accept a 6 month deal?

I would doubt that

Agree 100%.
I wanted Moyes out after the Fulham game.
vs Norwich was the turning point for me, for LVG.

As much as I'm not keen on it, going into the Chelsea game with him as our manager would be incredibly entertaining.

Well the guy did win the Premier League 6 short months ago. BBC were saying that the briefs from United were that a proven record of winning Premier League titles was now the most important factor in any potential manager.

It would be idiotic at this point to wait for Pep. If we don't get top 4 then he won't come anyway and yet again when the top 3 managers in the world are up for grabs we'll miss out. Get Jose in.

I just can't believe where we have ended up in terms of managerial appointments after Fergie. First the shambles that was Moyes' appointment. Now we have managed to be in a situation where City will Pep, Liverpool has Klopp and our best case appointment seems to be a downbeat Jose, albeit one with a point to prove. Personally if we are going to go for someone like Jose, then just go for the jugular and get Simeone in.
