What players would Mourinho target?

In the potential outcome that Jose is hired to take over from LVG, who does the caf believe he would target in both the January and summer windows?

I think he would 100% get a stop gap central defender in January and potentially another right wing option should someone somewhat decent be available somebody like a Yarmolenko to add some power and pace to our flank.

We know he was keen on stones and Pogba at chelsea, it would be interesting to see how our potential targets change from the past summer.

Griezmann and Stones seem the 2 obvious.

Maybe he'd bring in some Real players who might demand more game time. Isco/Varane come to mind.

Stones, Griezmann, Pogba seem very likely options, and 3 players who would be brilliant signings of course. Don't think pogba would come though. Can see Ibra in the summer on a free as well potentially. Mou and Ibra have a good relationship, right? With our need of an experienced striker, he could be the perfect person to help Martial up there.

A combative bastard DM (we actually need one too), Willian, a striker that doesn't quite work out (hopefully not Falcow again).

What if unicorns were real and they could play football! Would Mourinho replace Rooney with a unicorn? :wenger:

From all accounts this question is about to be answered come January...

Technical workhorse winger, Center back, tricky winger/#10 and Woodward/Jorge Mendes's Muppet Signing of the year.

Yarmolenko
Stones
Rúben Neves:
If Mourinho plays his cards right and uses his Porto/Portuguese connections (Long term Carrick replacement)
Bernardo Silva: Likewise
Zlatan, Griezmann, Ronaldo (Tbf Bernardo and Rúben are both his clients but think we'll get a bigger name to accompany)
Think he'll love the likes of Young, Valencia, Schneiderlin, Smalling, I back him to get the best out of Darmian and Shaw could be reminiscent to what Ashley Cole was for him.

--------------------------------De Gea----------------------------------
Darmian-------------Smalling---------Stones-------------------Shaw
-----------------------------Schneiderlin--------------------------------
-----------------------Herrera----------Rúben--------------------------
Yarmolenko-----------------Martial-------------------------Bernardo

FWIW, I trust Mourinho in the transfer market.

Signing Stones and Neves (plus De Gea sticking around) to give us technical ability in our defensive spine to go with Smalling and Schneiderlin's defensive skills, power and pace seems like a perfect fit. If all we did this summer was that and a good RW (or 9 with Martial wide) signed I'd be happy as a motherfecker.

Griezmann, Stones, and a #9 that can hold the ball up. Will probably go after Kane but settle for Zlatan.

Stones
Kane/Vardy
Bale

I think he'll go out of his way to try and accommodate British players n all that.

Mou would field Schweinsteiger. He hunted him for years - even told him in front of the cameras that somewhen he will get him...

Be funny if he went for Ronaldo and Ramos.
