I can safely say without a shadow of a doubt I'd suck him off if it meant he would stay forever.

Top 10 goalkeeper ever at this point for me. Only thing missing in his game is leadership, but I don't care as long as he keeps keeping the ball out.

Did you see Big Pete at Newcastle in the 1995/96 season?

Best shot stopper I've had the pleasure of watching. The guy isn't human.

Aye have to say Schmeichel. Dave's still 24/25 though, still got a good 10 years at the top level at least. Hopefully he'll play them all here...

He's brilliant but the rest of the squad are so bad it makes him look even better.

I'd go along with this, been thinking it for awhile. The only thing missing is longevity, given the state of the team I won't blame him for not sticking around. He is too good for the tripe.

Schmeichel had fantastic prescence, was solid as a rock and used to pull off 5-6 worldies a season............De Gea does 5-6 worldies a week.

I agree. Schmeichel and Edwin played in dominant teams behind great defenders. He surely will be off this summer though. And I doubt anyone can blame him anymore.

Already surpassed Van der Sar for me and I'd probably pick him ahead of Pete too. The guy has been saving us week after week for years, I don't remember any team being so reliant on their goalkeeper.

Still Schmeichel.

Did it for longer and did it at a higher level?

DDG sure is going to be hard to replace though. :(

Yeah, De Gea pulls them off on the reg, partly thanks to the rest of the team being so shit.
