Vermaelen is suspended and Vertonghen just twisted his ankle in training, so it seems unlikely he'll play. We may be looking at a defensive line-up consisting of Jordan Lukaku - Denayer - Alderweireld - Meunier, with possibly Ciman or Kabasele instead of Denayer. Not great. Wilmots' decision to leave Lombaerts at home suddenly doesn't look so good anymore. Hazard was slightly injured as well but he'll probably be fine.
If you feck Hazard up by playing him through injury you can go do one.

Outside of two set pieces which keepers should have saved and the Russia game.. he has not really been at the races. That said. . he's been better than Ronaldo and a host of other big names plus he looks tired rather than out of his depth or tactically limited.

If he can muster up his usual energetic performance. . he'll be a big threat v Belgium.
Pretty much this, good summary!

You can't take a full game out of the equation and all of his goals and say he's been average or not quite good enough. You could say that about anyone. He also provided the amazing cross that beat Northern Ireland (he was quiet in that game though)

He's been poor by his own standards. It is a different sort of poor to a Ronaldo who for me has been dire and a hindrance for Portugal outside of the Hungary game.

Gareth genuinely just looks very tired, outside of the Russia game.. he hasn't been beating players for fun, his passing has at times been abit off and his first touch has been lackadaisical.

For me it is to his great credit that despite him looking like he is running through treacle at times, he has proven himself to be a world class gamechanger. Imagine if he was fully fit and firing.

Bale is one of the best big match footballers in the world and his reputation has been enhanced by this tournament.. just saying from a technical point of view and as a big fan of him, he can definitely perform much better than he has which is a scary thought to be honest.

Bale as good as he's been hasn't reached the standards he's been at for Wales in previous games. He's been on the periphery too much, doesn't seem to want to sprint too much. There was talk of him not being 100% fit. Not sure I believe that, I just think with games coming quickly he's trying to save himself a bit.

Bale is not world class in the way Ronaldo, Messi are anyway. Lacks the football skills. He has a different skill set, including gigantic striding pace, a hell of a strike, elite athleticism, etcall of which make him a formidable asset. But I never see him completely run games. He's done awfully well with the talent he has and he is imposing it sporadically on this tournament.

Can't stand Gareth Bale and his prematch smirk remarks. Hope Belgium thrash them, but unfortunately I can see this ending in a draw.

A few Chelsea players in the Belgian side but also a few English players in the Welsh side. I'm torn.

I think the annoying welsh people at work who, until very recently, did not like football have pushed me towards Belgium.
If you are English, I don't see how you can even support Wales considering how their entire team mocked and laughed at us after seeing we got knocked out by Iceland.

Don't forget the fans too. I'm Welsh and I still haven't stopped laughing.

Sick of this hashtag bollocks and stupid sayings. It's proper cringey. A simple "Come on lads" would do. feckin hipsters.

Bale seems like a really nice person, I've always wanted him to do well (since he was at Real)

Fancy Belgium to get this done in 90 mins. Russia was everyone's whipping boy, they got dominated by sorry England and Slovakia game I don't remember it being a great display.

Despite the video of Wales celebrating Iceland's win I'm not looking for them to go out though. Would be nice if they can make it through, maybe a counter.
