This is why I was against the complaining in the beginning. If one person is able to complain and get what they want, then it opens it up for everyone else too. otherwise you end up enforcing rules unfairly, or not at all.

But as @Chesterlestreet said, this is a discussion for another thread.

Deadlines could be slashed, by the way. No point in having the most recent bids stand for hours if nobody's able to, or interested in, upping the bid.

Like we say in Russia, the strictness of the Russian law is compensated by the lack of necessity to follow it.

To be honest I do believe that both should be sanctioned as per rules - the OP couldn't be any clearer and any excel table with the live sum of your bids would've prevented that mistake. They failed to do the simplest thing, they should be sanctioned by the EAP as he believes is best

Downcast is already at the 210m mark, meaning he can't outbid anyone or introduce new players. @mazhar13 still has another 22m to spend (after enigma raised him on Schulz) and if he misses the nomination timeframe, he will in all likelihood raise an existing player on the list, given that he can't nominate a new player, or two for that matter.

Important point.

Shouldn't do the draw until everyone's squads have been confirmed. Though probably not crucial, he will have an advantage if he can secure players after the draw - i.e. he will then (in theory) be able to secure a player who is ideally suited to Opponent X.

Again, this is a pretty remote possibility - but it's by no means impossible.
