Damn, so three players go for the rest of the draft and this is the last reinforcement round?

The winner is definitely going to be decided now IMO - although to be fair Downcast may have this wrapped up already.

I don't think so. There are 3 suspensions to come (2 for this round and 1 for next) which are game changers. Since this is the last reinforcement how you strengthen now and adapt for next round will decide the victor. It does go down the wire.

LOL. 2 injured players to come... and then a recruitment process where we can buy in theory 10 players! ...and then the games...

So, I don't see one big favourite or one already loser. :)

Ctp & Enigma were labelled 'already winners' and it was not easy for them at the end.

The likelihood of him sustaining a double blow in the first injury round is slender, granted, so he's the big favourite to proceed to the final, as I see it - but winning the whole thing is a different matter. Should be possible to buy wisely here, and then ride your luck a bit.

The last part is what will ultimately decide this - and Downcast could simply get unlucky: He could lose A (huge player) and B (not too problematic) in the first injury round, which keeps him top of the pile for the s-f - but he now has to replace A somehow in order to look as good for a possible final. And then, in the second injury round, he loses C (another huge player). Suddenly, he isn't looking that sharp - and it all comes down to who he secures in the final reinforcement round (same as the rest of us).

Yeah. I don't have a top bench and the quality of my team is uneven.

Aye, agree with most of that and luck will play a huge factor again here (as it has throughout).

On this part though there isn't another reinforcement round I don't think - so this is it in terms of recruitment which is a new twist I guess.

I'm not actually that fussed about Downcast's team in that sense, I just like reinforcements so disappointed there aren't going to be any more

A never-nude? I thought he just liked cut-offs.
This is going to be interesting. Downcast looks to be the favourite but Maradona seems like the most irreplacable player in any team if he gets suspended. Not sure if that's really true but its certainly my initial impression. Do the reinforcements take place before the injury announcements? That will really add another layer of interest to the auction, in terms of whether managers prioritise strengthening existing weak links or else future proof against possibly losing key players through injuries.

Aye - that's what I meant: Final, as in this one. Which makes it very interesting - you have to, if possible, try and cover for that last injury before it happens (unlike previous rounds).

Should be fun - but, again, luck will play an immense part here.

Lucky Invictus because his top priority was certainly to acquire one striker

And all this after losing Suarez and Seeler for the quarters. I definitely have enough excuses for the upcoming defeat
