There is a large number of folks here who kept preaching that Guardiola is supposed to be an unproven coach who only had success with teams which could be coached by the greenkeeper and still win silverware.
Since people hate to be proven wrong, they tend to look for reasons that don't collide with their view, i.e. *crap opposition*, *horrible refs*, but *he'll be shown off soon enough*, for sure.
He might lose occasional points here and there due to his squad adapting, but the notion that he would be exposed as a fraud in the PL was ridiculous back then as it is now.
