If wages weren't a concern, and it was a free transfer, Northampton still wouldn't sign Rooney.
He stopped short of shifting Rooney though for whatever reason. When LVG realised RVP was done, he got rid. Why oh why can we not do this with Rooney too? He's clearly done.

I don't think he admits to himself or to anyone else how shit he is...I actually feel sorry for Rooney now. Like it's actually a bit sad. He probably can't believe how bad he is.
McNair braceFeck me I know it's not related to the game but check out the scorers in the QPR - Sunderland game, I won't spoil it

Bookmarked!Rooney has the first touch of a landmine.
There's a strong possibility that some of Rooney's current problems are a result of us playing him through injuries and especially England bringing him to tournaments when he's clearly not fit. I wouldn't want us to rely as Rashford as much tbh.I don't really agree tbh, I mean just look at Rooney and Ronaldo.
Both Rashford's age when they started here, and ended up playing almost constantly for 5 straight years, 10 in Rooney's case.
Yes. We got eliminated last year in October, while Rashford debuted for us in this February.Another record?
Another goal in a debut?
Craggy Island Over 75s or the Renford Rejects wouldn't have him.If wages weren't a concern, and it was a free transfer, Northampton still wouldn't sign Rooney.
He doesn't have anything to prove to Northampton.I don't think he admits to himself or to anyone else how shit he is...
Give them Rooney plus cash!Feck me I know it's not related to the game but check out the scorers in the QPR - Sunderland game, I won't spoil it
He will be some player. No 2nd season syndrome for him till now.Yes. We got eliminated last year in October, while Rashford debuted for us in this February.
Rashford does love a debut. Goal(s) in debuts for United (x2), for United in Europa League (x2), for United in the league (x2), for United in Carling Cup, for England, for England U21 (x3).
The only competition he didn't score in debut is on FA Cup. Hopefully next year he'll score in his UCL debut.
He's really taken it to a whole new level today. Against league one opposition too.Rooney haz become a parody of his shittest version.
Of course, there's a fat man-pig who has all the privileges taking up his position.
