Was there a song being sung there about Rooney? Heard "captain on England".

Did Tyler just say already decided that Rooney will not start against Leicester?

Ibra didn't want to be there. Clearly he doesn't look interested at all. No point in throwing players into games what mean very little to them.
I couldn't give a shit! He plays for Man Utd, and will play when needed, not when he chooses fit! He gets paid a nice sum for his services ffs.

I'd love to see another 'highlights' reel from Rooney, sounds like he's been comically awful this game.

Has he been better or worse (if that's even possible) than the Watford game?
Don't think he's been that bad, but considering the opponents he should be doing a lot better.

Instead of complete shit like the Watford game, he's just mediocre shit. Missing an open net is one particular highlight.

Rooney isn't even PL quality anymore, let alone United quality.

Honestly, if I was the manager of Northampton, I wouldn't even want him in my team, regardless of his wages.

I'm guessing your talking about the Leicester players? I didn't know that he was one of them.
Yeah he was. So good to see him having a shit time of it.

I don't really agree tbh, I mean just look at Rooney and Ronaldo.

Both Rashford's age when they started here, and ended up playing almost constantly for 5 straight years, 10 in Rooney's case.

I'd be starting Rashford and Martial in every league game this season if it were down to me.
Ronaldos a freak of nature and just about everyone agrees rooneys overuse as a youngster is a major reason for him going off a cliff in recent years.

Don't get me wrong i want him to play, and quite a lot, but he has to be managed carefully.

This. I like Ibra, but when you sign a contract, you play in the games that the manager sees fit to play you. What has this club done lately for the players to have their choice of which games to put a shift in?

    Rooney tripped up by Potter.
Potter was worried that Rooney would score, so had to foul him.
Defenders can't deal with Rooney's power and pace.
