I'm assuming it will be the same line-up as Leicester because why change it but I'd be tempted to swap Lingard for Martial.

I hate these early kick offs
Well we seem to have a pretty good record in early games kickoff this season. Very confident we will win. There is a reason why they are bottom. Gonna stick a £10k bet on us to win. £3,300 easy money.

Considering these are quite a "physical" team, I suspect we'll see the return of Rooney and Fellaini in the starting 11 tomorrow. If this happens, I predict a loss. Having one of them is fine, but we need pace in our starting 11. Combining those 2 with Mata and Zlatan is suicidal. Mkhitaryan and Herrera are the obvious choices.

    Predicted Starting 11:
    De Gea
    Valencia - Smalling - Bailly - Shaw
    Fellaini - Pogba
    Mata - Rooney - Rashford
    Zlatan

    My Starting 11:
    De Gea
    Valencia - Smalling - Bailly - Blind
    Herrera - Pogba
    Mkhitaryan - Mata - Rashford
    Zlatan

Stoke are shit. 1 pt in last 5. I think we'll see an unchanged side from the Leicester match. Only change I can see is Martial for Lingard. If we take a comfortable lead, I'd like to see Shaw come on for Mata, move Blind to DM, and push Pogba further up. Hope Mkhitaryan gets some minutes too.

    Don't do it man.
You may win, but you may lose, as well.
    Gamble sensibly.

Rooney will probably start from the bench again. Mou was talking about Wayne influence whther is on the bench or not and all that jargon. They way it seems to me is Mou preparing people(media) to see Rooney on the bench again.

Some media are trying to force a Rooney start though.

From the BBC: "It is 40 years since Manchester United lost at home to Stoke - a 1-0 defeat in April 1976."

It seems like whenever this sort of record is mentioned, it is subsequently broken.

Was thinking the same thing. no,no, no :nono:

But this is wonderful: From the BBC "Phil Jones remains absent with a knee problem, while Wayne Rooney is pushing for a starting spot after impressing off the bench on Thursday."

I bet Savage wrote that, since he called Rooney's hoofed over-hit pass that ruined a solid counter attack and almost went out for a throw in a "good ball", and banged on for an hour utterly confused about why Rooney wasn't starting.

The one that Usain Rashford had to work hard to catch? A good ball? Good thing I didn't smash remote control when Rooney did that. A good ball???!!! Wonder what he said about "assist". Damn, one game I was watching on Cro television, instead on stream, missed do much. Your pundits and commentators are pleasure to listen. (if you are high, or drunk)

The only question for me is whether Herrera or Fellaini starts. Herrera, logically, should start after his performance against Leicester. Knowing Mourinho, though, I think he'll go with Fellaini.

    --------De Gea
    Valencia--Bailly--Smalling--Blind
    -Herrera/Fellaini--Pogba
    Mata----Zlatan---Lingard
    ----------Rashford

Why the feck are we on another early start? Absolutely hate them.

Relatively easy but a highly unentertaining 1-0 win.

Gonna be watching at Old Trafford for the first time. And I'll be next to the Stretford End as well. :D

perfect game to set up a run. Stoke are looking like relegation fodder, conceding 2.5 goals per game and have the worst scoring record in the league. Back to back PL thrashings would help solidify a proper XI instead of this tinkering and giving in to "special interests".

If rooney and fellaini are recalled i'll be worried. Only change i'd make might be lingard out for martial/miki.

Really want Micki to come good and Martial to find his form from last season. We'll need those two firing for our football to improve.

    An easy 3-0 win.

    I did, marvelous stuff

I thought that after Northampton and Leichester, him being dropped would not make such a fuzz, but it seems his mates in the media are after blood now.
Stretford and Rooney obviously have influence..... I suppose for some in the BBC and British media it doesnt sit well that the captain of England is warming our bench

Mourinho has done the hard part in dropping him and he's done it in such a dignified way that Rooney has no complaints.... it's also been telling to see a few interviews with Mourinho really praising Mata and Herrera....

I think both start for the forseeable future

Key is to score first, and already in the first half. I expect tiredness to kick in towards the end of the game as most of the players in the first XI played just 2 days ago.

Hughes believes Rooney can evolve Like Giggsy. That kind of managerial judgement is a good omen for Stoke remaining bottom of the league today.

I forgot Lingard exists and put Martial in instead. Knew I had forgotten someone...
