A dislike is not unusual of course and as a rival poster you need a thick skin to be on here.
But your suggestion came across as you would sacrifice United's success for Liverpool's failure - or prefer the latter which is just odd.

I have been lucky (or in many people's eyes on here - unlucky), to be a Liverpool season ticket holder for over 25 years, and seen thankfully some great times - I wouldn't swap one of them in exchange for ANY United failure.
I think it has also been made clear by a higher authority than me or you that wishing injuries on players isn't acceptable behaviour on here - rightly so.

Reports were that he's only expected to miss the Burnley game, i expect Origi or Sturridge to come in for him. Second game of the season and the players are already dropping like flies. Glad Mane misses the Burnley game rather than the Spurs game.

He is back in training supposedly. We'll see if he can get a start on Saturday. It wouldn't surprise me to see one of Sturridge or Origi come in to replace Mane if he's injured. So Coutinho, Lallana and Firmino behind one of them.

It's a shame because Mane was our best player on Sunday.

Yeah he was really good. Wonder if Klopp would start Sturridge straight away.

He doesn't suit the way we play as much as Origi does but the reality is that Sturridge is vastly superior in terms of finishing and ability. I want to see Sturridge playing with Mane as I think they'd link up pretty well.

Scored in both AFCON games so far. Have to admit his consistency has been a big surprise to me this season. Always thought of him as a hot and cold player who will look like a world beater for five games but then go completely missing for the next two months.

You missed my point entirely. It isn't really a myth that he went 19 games without scoring in the PL last season. That was from 25th October (v Liverpool) to 20th March (v Liverpool also). He likes scoring against Liverpool so I'm not really surprised they ended up buying him. His performances/ratings may have been good in this period but I am clearly talking about goal scoring consistency, which has increased this year.

Funny how you use whoscored rating to conclude Mane was good last season and then post that Pogba was poor this season except last few weeks. Pogba had consistently above 7 rating with few 8s and 9s, he has very few below 7s.

Well TBH your post didn't read like that to me. You ended one sentence on consistency and then launched into the goal-scoring concern. My mistake if that was your intent. As regards goal-scoring .. he's primarily a winger, not a striker, and his goal-scoring has always been pretty good for a winger but you don't expect them to score week in week out. He's obviously on course for a good total this season though.

I've seen it. Many posters were banging on post after post about his supposed 'lack of consistency'.
