From the banks of the Irwell, to Sicily..
It will be very surprising if we get one of the big four / five as opposition. It seems the last time we got that was Chelsea away in Joses first season at Chelsea which I think was 05.
Also hope we dont get somebody like an everton and they make it a Monday night football game :D
Our first home game for the Moyes season was Chelsea on a Monday night. But that was the second round of fixtures of the season after that 4-1 away win at Swansea when we thought it might be a smooth transition from Fergie!

Yep I remember that. And it wasnt the worst result, but it was safe subs from both managers esp Moyes, rather than going for it, haha.
Think we also had Spurs at home second round fixtures (first home game) in 11/12.

I hope we get Liverpool home or something. It's the first time I'll be visiting Old Trafford - I might as well witness the atmosphere at it's finest. :D

I have another 2 in J stand for St etienne. Was hoping the buyer would have the tickets for Watford too though. Good thing about j stand is that it's standing so 3 of you can easily stand in the space for 2 seats.

How hard would it be to get a ticket to the final of the efl I'm trying to convince my friends to book the flights now as they will be cheap now, knowing when the pool qualify it will rocket up in price

Sorry don't think it will be too easy, you have to be a season ticket holder who applies for all cup games. No chance of general sale and will have to go to a tout. I think you would be lucky to get tickets for£250 each.

Looks like these 2 will go to waste for the 1st time this season. Absolute zero interest in them.
Might be the combo mate. Split them up maybe?

I may well have a Hull spare, but am hoping to weasel a northern work pal in nearer the time (otherwise will post here last min unless anyone wants to send me a pre-cursory PM - East stand job.)...haven't failed to get rid of a ticket in 3 1/2 seasons so far, despite some near misses. But at least if this did fall through it's a single.

I've tried that mate. Because Wigan is 4pm on Sunday 29th and Hull is 8pm on Weds 1st, it makes it difficult getting the ticket back and posting it to someone else in time for the Hull game.

I hate 4pm kickoffs. 12.30 would have been better for me and I would have been able to travel up.

I'm sure the people not interested in these will be quick to ask for EFL final (if we get there) and Chelsea home tickets later in the season. :smirk:

Supply and demand, hey.
I've had 3 people asking me for Watford home . I'm going to that but if anything changes, I have a mate at work who will take that off me.

I'm looking to fly over to Manchester for my first ever game at Old Trafford on April 29th.

Question: What would be the best way to acquire tickets for this game? Looking for two tickets side by side.

Still haven't sold my 2 tickets for Wigan in the cup and hull in the league. They are in the singing section N2402 row 18. I am just looking for the best offer at the moment. Ideally £100 for the 4 tickets but will Take an offer.

Alright. Just booked myself a day trip to Manchester for the Watford match. Here is the plan:

8AM - 9AM Dublin to Nottingham
9:30AM - 12:30PM Nottingham to Manchester (My cousin is picking me up and taking me to Manchester)
12:30 - 2:30PM Sam Platts or Bishops Blaize for pre match drinks
3PM - 4:50PM Old Trafford
4:55PM - Grab the first or second (likely second) train from Old Trafford Station to Manchester Piccadilly. I know the train schedule is released a fee days before the match so I am hoping to be in Piccadilly by 6pm latest.
6PM - 6:45PM - Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Airport
7:30 PM - Gate closes and flight departs back to Dublin by 8pm.

Any thoughts on this? When I get into Manchester I plan on stopping by a train station and grabbing a day ticket so I can switch trains at piccadilly quickly. From my understanding the platform that takes you to Manchester airport is directly across from the train that arrives from Old Trafford Station. I am also going to add fast track from ryanair to my ticket. Given I don't have any bags I am hoping the security won't take long. I am sitting in the West Stand above the Stretty so unless we are winning by at least 2 goals I don't think I will be able to catch the first train. Either way, the sooner I get to Piccadilly the better. If the queue outside of Old Trafford is crazy long I plan on walking a bit away from the stadium and just calling an uber to the airport.

Also anyone know if the Munich memorial will be on that day? It will be our first home match after Feb 6th. Thanks guys!

Really wanted to sell tickets for both games to one person as I won't have time to get them back and send again. Thanks for the effort though, at this point not far off selling 4 tickets for£50 which is pretty crazy.
