Congrats Dom. Awful start to the season. Was lucky to get anything out of that game... equalised in 68th minute only for Dier to get sent off in the 75th.

Thanks @Damien. Just moved house so everything is manic. Missed the loans window, got no stadium increase, no cash injection so my wages are well over budget this season so some tough decisions ahead.

Ps. Did not realise the season started so was really lucky as my subs and formations were completely wrong, but the score meant no subs or changes were made. Very lucky. Looking forward to champions league next season. Lol

Only way you can do it is link it to finances and therefore FFP. 58 unmanaged clubs so therefore 174 loans possible.

The solution I do have people won't like.

Option 1:

Division 1 = 3
Division 2 = 6
Division 3 = 9
Division 4 = 12
Division 5 = 15

*First come, first serve. Just ensure that you don't go over your loan out cap (for unmanaged clubs).

Option 2:

Your loan cap is basically your FFP minus 40 (could be changed to any number). So if you have a 49 FFP cap, then you can loan out 9 players to unmanaged clubs. If you're 53 FFP then you can loan out 13. Again first come, first serve.

Neither Option is ideal, but you never win get an ideal scenario as clubs can be taken over at any point or managers leave and it would upset the Loan Cap all over again.

Recalled a few there, so have 6 players in unmanaged sides, and 1 in a managed side.

As for a loan cap if we implement anything i actually really like Phils second option of ffp-40

Would the second option change much? I don't have 9 players loaned out as it is, so would it free up spaces for many others?

We have 42 managed clubs, and 58 unmanaged right? How about just 4 each loaned out to unmanaged clubs as a blanket rule to all?

Punishes the clubs with smaller stadia.

Second option would free up 31 spaces for loans.

Competition winners of each are added, so instead of being 4 and 8 it is 5 and 9.
I was thinking there was only 6 spots for the Shield, but I guess the domestic cup winners got a Shield spot too. Ah well, not to complain, I wasn't expecting to be in Europe.

The line is misleading. For some reason there's always been 8 teams in the group stage for the Shield.

I remember you winning it not long ago*

I'm easy with both options. Just means further planning for managers around their squad. Only issue I can see in Div 1 is stadium sizes, if they can only loan out 3 yet generate less income per gate receipts for the smaller clubs, might be a tad unfair. That's me not even looking the stadium capacity though.

My stadium Capacity is 7,100

Chelsea - Stamford Bridge (44,084)
Sunderland - Stadium of Light (49,000)
Aston Villa - Villa Park (44,155)
Tottenham Hotspur - White Hart Lane (44,130)
Everton - Goodison Park (44,132)
Nottingham Forest - The City Ground (43,647)
Birmingham City - (37,906)
Blackburn Rovers - (42,459)
Barnsley - (23,009)
AFC Bournemouth - Goldsands Stadium (21,668)

Fulham - Craven Cottage (43,798)
Milton Keynes Dons - Stadium:MK (36,525)
Norwich City - Carrow Road (43,597)
Manchester United - Old Trafford (76,212)
Plymouth Argyle - Home Park (42,899)
Arsenal - Emirates Stadium (60,432)
Darlington 1883 - Darlington Arena (42,379)
Wolverhampton Wanderers - Molineux (43,824)
Manchester City - Etihad Stadium (55,097)
Newcastle United - St James' Park (52,387)

fwiw the attendances still look bugged. They all look pretty low.

Yeah according to the SM rules the 2 domestic cup winners get a spot too, so with Darlington winning both domestic cups I guess the places just went to the teams in 11th & 12th this year.

It was season 9 I won the Shield, quite a while ago now.

Yeah feck it, i'm not too bothered anyway so i'll recall my below 75s (which I think will be most of my loans but oh well).
70+ for Div 3 and below, 75+ for Div 2 and 80+ for Div 1!
