I'll definitely watch it but I don't have high hopes from it. 24 Legacy has been suprisingly good though so maybe this will surprise me too.

If Heroes is anything to go by, not really.

Plus season 4 wasn't exactly a masterpiece either.

Wow, they've raise the stakes ain't they. Looks more like a movie trailer than a series, a quality one.

Escaping from prison in different country which is currently in civil war is more challenging.

Nice to see they've round up em all the original gang escapee members. :smirk: T-Bag, Sucre, C-Note.

Are you serious ?

Start watching it from today, right now. It was the best thing ever happened to TV shows, especially Season 1 and 2. By the time you are finished with the first series, season 5 will be out. I would highly recommend to start watching from the beginning, its worth it. It is on netflix as well.

You'd be doing yourself a major disservice. Prison break season 1 is one of the best seasons of any TV I've ever watched. It's absolutely exhilarating.

Season 1 was admittedly great, but how anyone can recommend season 2 and the tripe that came after it is beyond me.

I found it great because running away from law-enforcement is a very important party of every escape. I think it was fun to watch the season 2.

That good huh? I guess I'll start from season 1 then, tbh I did hear good things about it but I just never got round to watching it. Im off work next week too so I guess I'll just binge watch it.

Season 2 was very very good. The whole chase with the FBI and Mahone was very watchable. Sona onwards is when it lost the plot completely.

Season 2 was decent, but I think the ending of the season kinda ruined it for me.
S1 however is one of the best (if not the very best) single seasons ive seen of any show.

This. S1 was 95+/100, S2 maybe 75-80, the rest were meh...

I quite liked the first episode! Robert Knepper is, as always, the highlight.

This series is very dear to my heart because it's what got me 'into' TV shows proper. Of course there are tons of better stuff since but it really was a game changer for me.

Season 1 - Absolutely brilliant. One of the best tv seasons I've ever seen. The characters were awesome and always nail-biting stuff.
Season 2 - Important for the series as it shows what happens once they were out... and boy was it great. Being on the run from super cop Mahone was amazing. William Fichtner really took to the role and became my favourite character of the show.
Season 3 - A lot of people didn't like this one but I enjoyed it. Gretchan was a great addition, it was funny watching Linc the Sink try to use his brain and I rolled on the floor laughing when Michael sent Mahone to look for a marker for a bunch of episodes for no reason
Season 4 - This is where it went downhill. Started the season well, seeing the likes of Lincoln and Mahone working together was nice but the 6 scilla cards was just too dumb and it became waaaay too farfetched to really enjoy.

Hope the new season has Mahone...

Seems decent from the first ep but some of the dialogue was a bit cheesy or bad. Like the part about storms, when Sarah asks for a gun and her husband responds "what do you mean a gun?" or Lincoln's conversation with himself in the internet café. I was glad they made the C-Note part make sense, at first it seemed like Linc heard of Yemen and decided Muslims must be experts on this so he'll just go ask some.

I agree, I really loved the show too even if the quality declined a bit over time.

What the feck did I just see, nothing is making sense at all.

Why Michael refused to recognize his brother

He's 'officially dead'. He may not want to expose his true identity in front of anyone. He knows he'll be able to talk when his brother comes in to save him

At least that's what I thought anyways.

Anyways, it's terrible having to wait a week for new episodes when I watched the whole season 1-4 in two days

This was pretty bad, but still intriguing enough to tune in next week.

Agree about Sheba

liked the look of it in the trailer but still didn't have high hopes for this after seeing their acting performances in that DC series.

Just watched the first episode, requires a fair old bit of suspension of disbelief and all that, but it looks good so far. T-Bag has the panto villain down to a T, Linc bristles and glowers in equal measure and C-Note is now a devoted follower of Islam but still seems to be able to revert to his old self when required. It looks good so far, I am sure there will be twists, turns and a lot more to come, only seems to be 9 episodes in this series so doesn't look as though there will be too much time for any convoluted storylines, and this is said to be the last series with no more planned so this will be the end. Unless of course they manage to squeeze some more mileage out of it, of course, maybe one of the gang will need to be sprung from a maximum security old folk's home for the last-ever series if they decide to carry on....

How's it been. Debating whether to give it a go. I loved season 1, thought season 2 was okay, but then didn't even get half way through season 3.

You just know that if the ratings are there it won't only be 9 episodes in season 5.

That's what I'm thinking. The tattoos must have a meaning and it's just too convenient that C-Note had the camera out while Mike was putting his hands straight at Linc.

I found it was a decent episode. The thing with the picture and what they had Linc, T-Bag and Sara do with it seemed rather hollow though. Why not pull a photo on a twitter account or something, would have been a lot more plausible as the online verification process of a smart phone picture offers a different set of possibilities than a fecking picture on a sheet ffs. Anyway the part with introducing Mike and the characters back after the ending of Season 4 was never going to be smooth. Let's just hope the following action now is more ingenious.

According to IMDB there are only 9 episodes but was there not at least one of the series when it was first shown on Channel 5 had a mid-season break, as a lot of US series seem to do ? I can't remember, but if so, maybe there will be another 9 a few months after a break. Depending on the eventual outcome at the season's end, you might be right and there could be more to come if the ratings are good.

It looked to me like Scofield was showing Linc the tattoo on the palm of his hand when he was walking away and the symbol on there means something.
