Slightly bizzare that some posters are calling out people for being annoyed that we played terrible.

Yes we scraped through for the europa league final after a negative performance against the mighty Celta Vigo.

I know, I'm happy but I do feel slight embarrassed, doesn't feel like a win.

Like when we beat city in the fa cup, we were in control 3-0 I think then ended up hanging on 3-2 against 10 men

Too many passengers. Full backs dont add anything much going forward. On the wings mkhi gets pushed around too easily. Lingard has some good moments but no real end product. Overall our wide play needs to improve tremendously.

Thats because of Mourinho though. They sat back for most of the game because they were told to.

What should have been a comfortable win turned out to be something far worse. I know we should be happy about getting to the final which I am sure we are when we look back at this game a day later or so, but the overwhelming emotion right now for me is more of a relief that we are in the final, and a bit of an anger on how we performed.

This was a mid-table shit Spanish side playing at OT and frankly they shouldn't even have had a sniff. The absolutely poor substitutions and the lame tactics are a cause for serious concern. I don't want to be too critical but that could have ended up being an embarrassing way of exiting the competition and that would have been down to the manager.

Have to admit the negative tactics are seriously jarring. Granted we are in a final, but Mourinho is on a fine line between reasonable success and massive failure.

Horrendous performance. Play dirty and negative? Fine. But he doesn't even get the team to do that well, we conceded enough chances to lose. His masterplan didn't work and fact is we are in the final thanks to some bad finishing and were lucky.
