He's talking about guilleme "ballbag" balague
Oh Oh the Spanish Pepista clown, nothing related with being Spanish, I have a lot of Spanish friends, but there is nothing more funny than the arrogance of culés, the saviours and inventors of the purity of the game.

Let me guess, he says that he is finished, he only scores tap ins, he does not celebrate with the other players, and of course like Pep and Xavi says without any doubt Messi is the best player in history, because you know guys like Maradona couldn't make it there.:D

People keep saying he is in decline in past 2 years, but he will probably end up with 2 Ballon D'or in his 2 worst decline years.
Seriously though I thought the past few months is the best I've ever seen from Ronaldo. Absolutely the form of someone you'd expect who is GOAT.

He's without doubt in decline. He's just so good that him in decline is still the 2nd best player in the world.

Well, no shit...

You're the guy that was claiming the current Madrid midfield was the best midfield in the history of the game and that Marcelo was the best attacking fullback of all time just to discredit Cristiano... And I quote:

Ronaldo plays with the best midfield in history (imo) and the best attacking fullback in history, also a striker that is more than willing to pass and create chances for him. He's not asked to be involved in the buildup, and has the best "builder uppers" in history arguable working in his favor. Basically a fat guy at a buffet at this point, his goals are mostly trivial. Tap ins, easy headers.

I've been watching Madrid closely. When Ronaldo doesn't play, Madrid scores 5 or 6 like against a tough La Coruña away (who beat Barça). Instead of 1 guy eating all the chances for himself, everyone gets theirs.

You talk like if Ronaldo didn't exist there wouldn't be anyone in his place scoring those goals lol.
Maybe some stats would have helped you reach a different conclusion since watching the matches apparently hasn't been enough.

Keep on talking, he plays better when there's people like you to shut up.

I don't take back any of that. The goal is a detail, building dominance and creating chances is whats difficult.

5th Balon d'or coming up for Ronaldo.. I don't think it even matters if he wins the CL or not.
He's won the league and been more critical in the latter stages of the season over Messi.

He's the player that created the most chances and has the most assists in this year's Champions League. Not bad for someone 'not asked to be involved in the build up'.

How can you call goals a detail? Scoring a goal is literally what counts. Goals win you games, dominace doesn't win you anything. This is football we're talking about, not some training exercise. It's not like the goals he's scoring all come from unreal passes, he's scoring off chances nobody else in the world can convert this often.

Ronaldo haters will clutch at anything even if they have no argument. It's best to leave them admiring from afar.
Ronnie has shut them up, I don't see a lot of haters coming in here anymore... go back 10 pages and you'll see them all.

When Jardel was scoring 1000 goals in your country, nobody was even talking about him.

After internet age, stats became important because of american sports culture inflitrating ours. I withstand my point..

Today's Ronaldo plays like a more athletic Mario Gomez.. I prefer to appreciate the players in their primes like Kroos, Modric and others. They aggregate more to Madrid imo

The amount of hate this guy gets is incredible. Former Utd player (and winner of titles), doing extremely well and in the top 2 players of the world bracket (1 or 2 is debatable) and they'll use anything to criticize him.

Good on you for transcending such influences and being the voice of reason for us all.

They weren't talking about him? Wtf... Jardel is known as one of the best players to ever play here. Sporting fans still sing his name from time to time

A more athletic Mario Gomez... jesus. What did Ronaldo ever do to you?

In the past 2 seasons Cristiano has 27 assists. Mario Gomez has 24 in his entire career.

So last period he scored 5 goals vs Bayern, 3 vs Atletico to lead Madrid to the final.

And scored 2 vs Seville, 2 vs Celta and one today to wrap the league for Madrid, too.

He really appeared at the crucial period of the season.

He's coming back.
I can see the attraction of leaving the Spanish and European champions where the team is set up to make him score to come to a league and team like United who play Thursday nights and come 6th.

Bad times for the CR7 haters. They have such little ammunition these days.
And lets not forget, "he is not good enough to play for MUFC. Do not want..."
If he came to our club in the Summer, he would immediately be our best player and probably would take us to the next level.

It pains me to say it, but we just aren't good enough to attract a player of his class.

The titles currently held by Cristiano Ronaldo

- La Liga
- Champions League
- UEFA European Championship
- Ballon D'or

With a possible historic retention of the Champions League.

What a decline.

We should have sold him for double what we sold him. Although adjusted for inflation the price would probably be 120/130ish.
