That actually means the opposite doesn't it? It sounds like a sarcastic dig at yet another journo banging on about United
Hard to tell by this quote. Would need to see a video of him saying it to really comment on that.

1 in 3 scoring record, Spanish Giroud who is going to cost 50 million. No thanks.
Before going back to Madrid this year, he never scored more than 8 goals in the league in one season.

No thanks. Would rather play Rashford / Martial / Ibra and spend the money on a player to create behind them.

Yes playing as a sub and a winger, and he still averaged like 1 goal in like every 180mins, including goals in the CL semis and final

and we would likely finish outside the top 4 and end up in the EL again.
Why? Rashford and Martial are both improving and would do so even quicker with more games. Plus, we need better creators than Lingard, Mata, out-of-position Rashford, etc.

:D Rashford is not a goalscorer, Martial had a terrible season and Ibra will miss first few months of the season. Not signing any striker during transfer window would be a disaster.

Well, truth is we need both desperately but, judging by the Griezeman cooling off briefing, it seems to be a case of one or the other and, given that, my view is that we need a creator more desperately.

I think with the season gone by, you forget how bad rashford is at finishing. He dint score for 3 months. Martial will be a winger for us, i dont think LVG or mou see him as a striker. We created lot of opportunities in the season, just could not finish them, Morata will do that for us. I think he will be a great addition.
Morata, Fabinho, Lindelof would be 3 good additions to a good squad. Them along with a star player and we should be set for the season.

Alfonso Morata (Alvaro's father): "The only club that has contacted Real Madrid is Manchester United."

In other words A.C Milan get you're fecking act together we wont wait all summer for you to bid.

He's off to Italy im almost sure of that.

During the first few months of the season we created lots of chances but we couldn't finish them. Even Ibra who scored nearly 30 goals, missed lots of good chances. Imagine having someone else instead of Rashford, someone who could actually score more often than once in 4 months. I think the priority is goalscorer as we already have a few creators.

I thought your were first words were laughing at someone saying Rashford isn't a goalscorer.

But it seems it's you saying that.
What on earth is he then?

5 goals in 32 league matches is not good enough. I know he is young but no way we can go to next season without signing a striker like a poster I replied to suggested.

I don't see how this puts him in a better light. His competition for the second striker in that Juventus team were Mario Mandzukic and Simone fecking Zaza.

Rashford is improving, but Martial seems to be more in decline, still neither will be at the level we need for a main striker. We got so far this season with Zlatan carrying the team but neither Rashford nor Martial can be expected to deliver at that level consistently.

While I agree we need a creative player, that alone will not solve our problem upfront. We also need a solid #9 that can lead the line, hold up the ball and also score the goals.

In his first season,at 22, he was vying with llorente and eventually got ahead of llorente. In his second season he was vying with Mandzukic, who was a better #9 for Dybala to play off.

Also Juve were releuctant to invest in him long term, as Madrid had a buyback caluse which theu did use

He has 20 goals this season, more than Benzema with almost 10 fewer games mostly playing as a sub as the second fiddle to Benzema. Yet somehow, he isn't good enough for us and not worth it to some of you? Have you seen this kid play? Seriously talented and with game time has an eye for goal. I'd love to have him here.

Not just his goalscoring ability, he contributes so much to the team. I'd say he's the best we can get in this summer market. Funny thing is these people who are saying Morata isn't good enough are saying Lukaku is an amazing player.

Seeing the price/quality of the strikers in the market I think that Morata would be the best option for United.
I believe that he is the first/second option for Mourinho.
I read in a not very reliable sport newspaper(diario gol) that he is decided to go to Chelsea, however Milan's offer is better.
Although United should push for him the victory tonight can change the picture

Who the heck would want to leave Real Madrid right now? And it's his hometown club. Can't blame his views but nor does it mean we shouldn't be the ones to capitalise on the situation.

His relationship with Jose remains good (right?) and his style would suit the league and what we need to a tee.
