Debacle?C'mon Woody, get this one over the line and I'll forgive you for the Lukaku debacle.

He is partially at fault too.Conte is going to be pissed if they can't get rid.
I didn't feel there was nearly that much personally.
I'm not saying we were vintage throughout but the pragmatic end to the season erased a lot of the good stuff from people's memories IMO. There's also no doubt putting away more chances would have improved everyone's perception. There was a fairly long spell, especially in home games where we were playing some really good stuff that should have been rewarded with some absolute goal fests.
For whatever reason we could barely score a goal against anyone though, and saved the drubbings for the cup.
You can't tell me numerous games, like Stoke, West Ham, Burnley just for three shouldn't have been 3,4,5 nillers rather than draws

It is funny though isn't it? Seeing Chelsea seem to be how everyone should conduct their business. Yet Jose was supposedly p'd. It appears Conte is even more p'd.He is partially at fault too.
Clearly you should. Jose won't play the type of football you obviously prefer. But as his first season has shown, he will win trophies. As someone else said, I should have been more worried when Mourinho took over, but I bought into his presser about building a different profile or team at United.
For texting Costa that he's not in his plans? Yeah, bit daft to make it so clear he's available. With Atletico probably the only club interested and Costa wanting to move there, there's no incentive to pay that much. They'd be lucky to get half of that.He is partially at fault too.
I can't imagine him in any other shirt so will be weird seeing him play for efc.Tweet

Replacing Costa with Belotti would be absolutely hilarious.60m
I would be happy with Costa staying another season there and they going for Llorente as backup.
I doubt it though, think they will sell for less and go for Morata/Belotti.
He was wearing their shirt about a year ago in a match.I can't imagine him in any other shirt so will be weird seeing him play for efc.
He has played for them before if you go on Google images.I can't imagine him in any other shirt so will be weird seeing him play for efc.
shh, it is not over until fat lady sings. (never really understood that line)It's over, it's finally over!
My first abiding memories of Rooney is in the Everton shirt, scoring against Arsenal in particular.I can't imagine him in any other shirt so will be weird seeing him play for efc.
Part of the success is down to what a nasty son of a gun Costa is.Replacing Costa with Belotti would be absolutely hilarious.
If true, I'd expect an announcement in the next day or two. And same for Lukaku. I think the deals are linked. We wouldn't sell them Rooney if they were refusing to let us sign LukakuTweet

He wore one two years agoI can't imagine him in any other shirt so will be weird seeing him play for efc.
He's also a much better player.Part of the success is down to what a nasty son of a gun Costa is.
I dont know, Belotti is young and a bit of a surprise package, had a tremendous season. With Costa you know what you get, good striker but also an unhappy player and an idiot on the field. I would rather them keeping CostaReplacing Costa with Belotti would be absolutely hilarious.
Opera. It references sopranos who are stereotypically overweight.shh, it is not over until fat lady sings. (never really understood that line)
Remember Ciro Immobile? He was a huge year as well and Dortmund did well to snap him up in late May. Failed the entire season then went to Sevilla and failed there as well. Now he is back in Italy and did well this season.I dont know, Belotti is young and a bit of a surprise package, had a tremendous season. It's good to see Chelsea make such a hash of things for once. It's stopped all those drones saying why can't we be more like Chelsea..Chelsea always do their deals early and quick etcNo one will pay 60 million for Costa when the whole world already knows he isn't in Conte's plans.
That's all United fans value, is it? What a degradation of a great club.Clearly you should. Jose won't play the type of football you obviously prefer. But as his first season has shown, he will win trophies.
Belotti is better than Immobile, you only need to watch them play. Also they could go for Morata. Either way i want Costa to stay, he isnt happy there. He started on fire and then went very silent after February.Remember Ciro Immobile? He was a huge year as well and Dortmund did well to snap him up in late May. Failed the entire season then went to Sevilla and failed there as well. Now he is back in Italy and did well this season. Need to give one more year before judging Belotti.
Nope, not at all. That's all United fans value, is it? What a degradation of a great club.
I always thougth it some sort of opera or musical where, when lady sings it is the end of the show, but never knew why she has to be fat.Opera. It references sopranos who are stereotypically overweight.
Sky Sources understand that Antonio Conte is becoming frustrated.Tweet

No, pure fans like you don't. So the degradation is premature. That's all United fans value, is it? What a degradation of a great club.
Conte has lost Chelsea Millions of pounds with his text message. Absolute stupidity from the manager.Conte is going to be pissed if they can't get rid.
Agreed. It's good to see Chelsea make such a hash of things for once. It's stopped all those drones saying why can't we be more like Chelsea..Chelsea always do their deals early and quick etc
First mistake, the whole mess with Costa, second mistake sheer complacency with Lukaku, and now they have the very tricky position of being in a little bit of limbo of how to get a good whack for Costa, without paying top dollar for a quality replacement.
Any talk of Batshuyi is a joke. He's not a front line striker!
@Nate Dogg thats v true; another link to the old days broken. I wish the Roo adios and best of luck.I can't imagine him in any other shirt so will be weird seeing him play for efc.
