Fairly confident Fellaini will stay. New CM/Pogba/Herrera/Fellaini/Carrick/Pereira. Six competing for three roles, which is about right. Also likes of TFM who can cover there if needed, or Mata/Mkhitaryan who can't play CM, but can play as 10s in 4231.

Highly doubt Mou would want to get rid of him anytime soon. He was brought in under Moyes, survived LVG, and was used frequently by Mou - he's a survivor and for as far as I can tell a no bs model professional servant of the club - who also managed to score some very decisive goals over the years. Especially with the way Mou deployed him a few times this past year its clear he can be very effective for us...just needs to keep those elbows in check. How he didn't rack up a few red cards this past season can be called a slight miracle.
I'm sure he's going nowhere, but if he had to join, I could see him absolutely dominating the dross in that league from about position 7 and below. He would just bully everyone off the pitch.

Maybe Barca wants to use Fellaini for specific training purposes, sort of like the Op-force used by US military. This way Neymar, Suarez etc can practice some of their Dives and rolling on the ground as if someone has shot them, to become even more proficient.
I've only read it in a single Belgian newspaper, who've picked it up from a tweet by Barcasstuff. It's the lowest form of journalism imaginable, just repeating a tweet without doing any verification or investigation of their own.
This. He has his uses and Jose definitely rates him. He can be very handy when used to his strengths. Can't see him leaving this summer. He shouldn't be a starter but can be a very valuable squad player.

I can picture Fellaini chesting down the ball in silky fashion and sliding it to Messi. Messi beats three players, lobs it above two others and Fellaini who is at the end of it, chests the ball down again for Neymar who knocks it in the end.
Suarez is a bit upset though because he is one of the two players Messi keeps lobbing the ball over to get to Fellaini.
